History must not be your strong suit if you detect similarity between how Hitler got to power vis à vis Trump's victory in the 2016 election. Hitler's stated enemy were the Jews and when he got to power he started killing them. Trump's enemy is the Democratic Party and the MSM.

As a part time study of history, I have always wondered how Hitler, Franco, or Mussolini managed to climb to power.

How about Martin Luther King Jr, the iconic civil rights leader? He certainly was a charismatic speaker too. His "I have dream" speech is remembered to this day. Was he as evil as Hitler? Just because there are similarities in political tactics to win elections, and Hitler did get into power by winning a democratic election in Germany, does not mean that Trump equals Hitler. I would point out that socialists, trade unionists and Jews were legal citizens of Germany when Hitler gained power just like those of Mexican heritage, Muslims and gays and lesbians are legal citizens of the United States. As to the illegal citizens why they are here in the United States illegally and so all that Trump advocates is they should be deported and returned to their country of origin. He does not advocate in killing them. As to those of Mexican heritage, Muslims and gays and lesbians, I defy the poster to produce anything Trump has written or said that he would cause harm to these groups of peoples.

I believe hatred of Trump robs one of intellectual discernment. To equate Trump to Hitler is an example of the veracity of my assertion.

Which means the real question isn't about any of that. It's about which side of the equation can get more supporters/votes for the BS they're pitching to the public.

People have seen that Brandon can't deliver and that Trump could and did. Whether there are enough on either side to weight the balance depends on who is doing the asking and who is doing the believing of their results.
