Voter mandate for mass deportation laws? How exactly would you determine that?

Congress has already declined legislation to address the issues. They won't create the budget or legislation that would allow such deportations to occur.

Also, have you noticed the weekly trips to the border by Congressmen have stopped? Wonder why ¯⁠\⁠(⁠°⁠_⁠o⁠)⁠/⁠¯

True. No mandate among Democrats. They compromise about one third of the electorate. The other two thirds include independents and Republicans.

The survey proves that Republicans are 3 times more likely to be dumb than Democrats. (30% vs 90%).

Nobody said Democrats have a mandate. The poll shows that 62% of all registered voters support such a program, including a third of Democrats, 60% of independents and a strong majority of Republicans.

That is only true if the next President and Congress are Republicans. Think before you type.

Get them to self-deport and here's how;

Make E-verify the law of the land.

Make the hiring of an illegal a class C felony for the first offense, class B for subsequent offenses.

Rescind all issued work permits and terminate all support payments.

We'll be left dealing with the criminals but we already are anyway.

Knee-jerk doesn't help America and hurts our workflow tremendously causing mass work stoppages and a gazillion other problems.

As I explained above, people who support deportation of all undocumented immigrants haven’t thought about the consequences for the economy.

Only fools want to throw out millions of workers when the unemployment rate is at a historically low level.

Really? Under what auspice? Hiring illegals is already illegal. Elevating the penalties for hiring said illegals is well within the powers of Congress. E-verify is nothing more than a tool that employers can use to comply with existing law. Defunding "benefits" for illegals is also within Congressional power. There is NO legal barrier, only the will to act.

Perhaps research asylum law a bit.

You can't just deport people without cause. Asylum system migrants aren't here illegally, even if they cross the border illegally.

So you'd have to find a way to ignore those laws.....and since you aren't even acknowledging those laws, the courts will strike it down.

And all of that ignores the fact that Congress doesn't have enough votes to overcome it's own incompetence

They aren't all working, many of them are on welfare of some kind. It is illegal to employ an illegal alien, so I don't give a shit for their employment.

Immigrants have a slightly lower unemployment rate than the low overall unemployment rate.
