Who Wants To Play Trivia?

Actually, those ridges on the edge of a coin are called reeds, and the edge is a reeded edge. They were put there origionally to keep the unscrupulous from shaving metal from the edges and selling it as bullion when enough was collected, and then passing the undersized coin as one of it's full-sized bretheren, at face value.

Hey, what happened to the trivia questions. I was just getting into it and patiently waiting for the next round. I don't think there's going to be one though. ;(

ok I have a question of my own

Why do we drive on a parkway but park in a driveway???

by the way a sitcom runs a minimum of 22 minutes as per fcc rules allowing a maximum of 8 minutes of commercial interruption for a network show...
when it is rerun on local channels or cable the stations are allowed more commercial time, that is why some jokes or reaction shots in the original are clipped out...
some stations run the program a little faster than filmed (1minute is shown in 57 seconds so that they can squeeze in one more commercial break..it's called compression or something like that..)
Squiggy
