Who will Clinton choose for VP?

Your sig tells me your posts don't matter b/c when you're not looking at the computer, you're looking at a mirror to monitor yourself.

If she won't be the President, who will? I know who I'd prefer, but she has far more delegates, so she trumps all other options.

Take it to the bank I spend more for books than it would cost for a tractor and logging chains to pull your head from your ass.

Good thing it was never there... Not to mention I couldn't find room with all the members kissing it.

Regardless, I don't see the return of "the Democratic Republicans"... I long ago considered running for President, & am still considering doing so (not this election) as part of Jon Gnarr's victorious party.

VP Pick

I am leaning towards Castro as the one I think she'll pick.
But Senator Warren is sure impressing many of us with her vitality.

It's getting serious when the corporate media starts reporting her criminality.

No it isn't. Since the last President Clinton, 100 cops have been reported as killing someone, & served/paid no punishment for it.

Meanwhile, we all do (some of us) no crime at all, & still have to repeatedly hear about her E-mails, & both watch & read (repeatedly each) stupid things Trump says & does.

To a larger degree than Obama, Biden mainly looks good due to his predecessor. If he makes it 6 more months without shooting a friend, he wins!

Uh... Can't argue that. But I think that if we polled Gore vs. Biden, Joe would win.

On another note, someone asked me whether or not Bill Clinton could be vice president. Just mental masturbation here. If he could be vice president, would he have to resign if Hillary died, since he can't be president again? And if so, wouldn't Paul Ryan become president?

I've heard this one floated before and hashed out by professors-

There are a couple of reasons why we won't see a Clinton-Clinton ticket. Bill is disqualified because 1) both candidates can not be from the same state according to the Constitution, and 2) Since he is ineligible to serve as president, he cannot perform the duties of vice-president ( such as standing in during surgery and recovery ) and succeeding the president in the event of death/incapacity/resignation/impeachment, he is ineligible to stand for election much the same as if he were too young, or a foreign citizen.

The line of succession is President, VP, Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Secretary of State, Sec. of Treasury, Sec. of Defense, and the Attorney General.

No chance in... Well, anywhere but Florida which thanks to his (now-former-candidate) brother being a person of power is the only reason Gore wasn't Obama's predecessor.

We'll see.

I'm certain it's more than that over a period of almost 16 years.

The Constitution doesn't say that they can't be from the same state. What it says is that electors have to choose two people for President and VP, and that one of them needs to be from a state different than the elector. Both of them can be from the same state, and the electors in that state would then have to vote off-ticket.

Also, the Constitution doesn't say that a former President past his term limit can't be elected to other offices; he is only banned from being elected President again. If Bill Clinton was Hillary's VP, in Hillary's absence Bill could be President again, because he wasn't elected to it.

Hush.....apparently the Constitution and the Enquirer have become one and the same.

Btw, the Enquirer is reporting that Bill Clinton is carrying Trump's love child after a bizarre alien encounter. (I might be making that last bit up.)

I had a thought about HRC picking Liz Warren as VP, to be insurance against a Rethuglican assassination attempt. Think about it. if the "Powers that Be" decide to send Hillary over the Grassy Knoll, wouldn't they think twice about Liz in the Oval Office?
