It was a straight case of me being confused by others using multi handles, so I wondered how others would feel if THEY didn't know who the hell was answering what, using whatever handle.
It can be confusing. It may seem funny to those in the know, but can mess some - particularly newbies - about.
I have one handle and stick to it. If others want to use more, fine. However, I think I made a point. If people accept it in good heart, as being caught at their own game, that's fine. If they get their knickers in a knot, that's their problem - not mine.

I'm pleased about that, and that you had a good chat.
I guess if you or anyone uses more than one handle you have your reasons. It CAN confuse though, and when people join or start threads and one person is using more than one handle on it, it may seem fine and innocent - and probably is. But not always. Sometimes there are other reasons.
I find it sad they feel a need to do it. (My opinion.) If I'm having it done to me, and they think I don't know - whoever it is - I feel justified in replying in kind. How they react when caught at their own game is up to them.
If no malice was intended on their part, they are probably man or woman enough to accept none was meant on mine. If they take offence because they got caught out doing the very thing THEY choose to do - they have a problem.
I was aiming at nobody in particular, merely showing the confusion that using more than one handle can cause. And that it can lead to aggro at times. If I upset the innocent, I regret that deeply. If I upset those that were happy to confuse me, then that is tuff titty.
I figured these were friendly threads. I thought they were public to members. As such, anyone pissing about using multi handles, and getting taken for a ride deserve all they get.
That's just me. People can accept me warts and all, or ignore me. I'll survive, and expect they will too.
Life's too short to live with aggro or resentment or hate filling it.
I'm everyones' friend unless they choose to make it otherwise. That's their loss, as well as mine.
