Nobody wins. I certainly didn't seek to, as I didn't see it as any form of contest.
We all hopefully learned something though.

In the cold light of day I sincerely hope all accept it was merely my way of showing how duplicate handles can confuse.
Certainly I had no intentions of upsetting anyone. I figured that a check on all my postings - as I'm sure many did - would show that I'm a unique bitch with a unique style that few would not recognise were I to actually post under another name.

I really expected someone to cotton on fast that I didn't have another handle: That nobody did was my error.

It's water under the bridge now for me. I hope it didn't leave any hard feelings, it was not intended to. For any that may be left feeling aggrieved, it may pay them to ask why? And is it worth their effort? Bearing grudges merely hurts the bearer. Life goes on, and there are worse tragedies at sea - as I can testify to - but that's another story.

I am my own alter-ego.

That's right Lucifer_Carroll is Lucifer_Carroll's evil twin.

I am dreadfully sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

I'm Og's alter-ego, created to explore the possibilities of writing from a woman's viewpoint.

As an experiment I was pleased to receive more attention and more votes than Og did.

I was not pleased with the other suggestions that came to an apparently female persona despite my stated age. That was before I set my current AV. Now the suggestions are even more explicit.

I came clean on April 1st because the reason for my creation had passed and some at the AH had guessed my identity.

From time to time I will write stories as well as Og. My latest, 'Headshot', has just been posted.

I didn't enter the Nude Day Contest because Og wrote five stories for it. One from me as well could be overkill. I might enter the Halloween contest.

As 'Jeanne' I get more reads and more votes than as 'Og'. Maybe that is because readers know what to expect from Og.

Everyone is unique in their own way, however everyone is also consistant when it comes to their personality, and their writing. Their psychological make-up as it were. There are certain key phrases, certain spelling mistakes, topics, and one's sense of humour that do come through, and eventually everyone catches on.
