When I started my first blog I struggled for a name. Then, while changing the bed sheets, I saw the warning on a pillow:

I ripped it off. And thus, I was born.

I’ve answered this on other threads, but I’ll do it again here. I like to invoke a creative process when I write and calling myself “Hello Darkness” invokes that. I had to translate the phrase, however, to make the pen name more unique. An in-joke related to this appears in my God of War story. Kratos and Freya refer to my self-insert character as Ancient Greek and Norse translations of “Hello Darkness.”

I was trying to create a username clever and sexual, but everything I came up with was already in use. Frustrated, I tried the same user name from a car site I was on at the time and it worked. My username is a description of the car I was driving the day I joined Lit.

How I came up with it? I wanted something that kinda sounded bad ass, like Millie's name, that would draw attention. And also something sex related, but not cheesy. I was drawing blanks until I looked into faith--sorta. So my name kinda looks like some plain, generic pen name, unless you know, or find out who I got the names from.
