I hate to break this to you, but if you don't have a significant portion of the armed forces on your side, your "rebellion" will go nowhere. If you do have a significant portion of the armed forces on your side, gun control doesn't mean anything anyway because the military has these really large armories.

Personally, I think that the Army and Marines especially spend enough time in countries where the military interferes in politics that they want nothing to do with armed rebellion, especially since the military includes a broad cross section of the population.

But really, do you think your rifle is going to stand up to a tank or a bomb? The military can kill you from hundreds of miles away with the push of a button, so good luck with this "rebellion" of yours.

Funny, I thought the Second Amendment was to "ensure a well regulated Militia." Sort of like the National Guard now, except they didn't have armories then. If gun ownership had been regulated we never would have been able to rebel against the Brits. This was fresh in the minds of those who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There had to be a way to control our own government when, not if but when, it got to big for it's briches. The time is fast approaching.

Amazingly enough, in the last 200+ years, we've developed all sorts of advanced weaponry. You may have heard of tanks, missiles, and bombers? Who do you think controls those? You can reenact Waco if you think it will do some good, but I guarantee that if you try to use weapons to control the government, it won't work out well for you.

Since you're so big on the Constitution, you might want to check out the rest of it. You know, the parts where it talks about separation of powers and rule of law. Our founders were well aware of the tyranny of government. It's why they put those checks and balances in there. An armed rebellion will not work without the support of the military. It will take a hell of a lot more than the Obama administration to make that happen.
