Why Trump Won’t Visit London - his big lie

This sums up nothing more than how annoying you have demonstrated yourself to be.

May and the Mayor of London hate him and would probably orchestrate a bunch of drama that would disrupt his visit anyway. He's not liked in Britain so why go?

What makes you say that? I was under the impression him & May share similar ideologies and ideas such as brexit and immigration.

Most of the promises he's made to America are coming true. He did lie when he said Apple would build I phones in the United States, however he's not as economically stupid as Obama was. But back to the point of the thread. What interest do we have in a visit to London right now? Two million Brits said they would join a protest against him and other leaders wanted to embarrass him with second rate treatment so why bother. Brits need to read their own papers:

The Sun? Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha!

... Best to wait until the Brits have more respect for the American people and who they elect to the presidency. We understand ...

Most of us do respect the American people. Whoever is elected as US President is the representative of ALL Americans. President Trump was your country's choice. But we would have found it difficult to choose between Trump and Clinton as President. Some of us are relieved that we didn't have to vote for either of them.

I think Americans should have been able to find better people as candidates for President.

We in the UK don't elect Presidents. We don't elect Prime Ministers. We elect members of a political party. Whichever party has the most Members of Parliament on their own or in coalition gets to choose the Prime Minister.

Is our system better? Probably not. It's just different. We still get some weird results and some incompetent politicians.

If you had an education or were up on current events I wouldn't have to tell you so I won't bother reiterating the obvious.

The only thing obvious is your blind partisanship and devotion to a moron.

Were these some of the promises you see 'coming true'? :

1) Build a wall and have Mexico pay for it.

2) Replace Obamacare with something "Terrific".

3) Get rid of health insurance regulations between states.

4) Get rid of ISIS in 30 days.

5) Prosecute Hillary Clinton.

6) Never take a vacation while serving as President.

7) Invest more in programs and health care for vets.

8) Bring back jobs from China.

9) Reduce the national debt.

10) Get rid of corporate tax loopholes.

11) Provide more funding for police training.

12) Provide more funding for drug treatment.

13) Triple the size of US Immigration and Border police force.

14) Enact term limits for congressional members.

15) Ban Muslims from entering the US.

16) Use US steel for infrastructure projects.

17) Release his tax returns.

18) Create targeted child tax credits.

19) Decrease the number of tax brackets.

20) Balance federal budget.

21) Make America great again.

I think they both pissed each other off. It's in that article I linked.

None, when he's not wanted there. Best to wait until the Brits have more respect for the American people and who they elect to the presidency. We understand Britain is in transition. We understand London is run by a guy who hates America and is busy lobbying for bringing even more people who hate both you and us into your country. Frankly I think our Presidents should spend more time at home solving our own problems anyway. Let the State Department represent the country.

I think most Americans misunderstand the un-importance of our mayor. Our mayor just makes sure the bins get emptied and that people don't sell drugs in the subway. No one really pays him much attention over here... unless you live in London and your bin's not been emptied.

You're not liked here, so why log in?

Noting he hates Donald Trump our media has made him a big celebrity in the United States.;)

Brits were ok with America under Obama, Bush and Clinton. We weren't too chuffed about the war, but millions never signed a petition to keep Bush out of the country.

Trump is hated here. He was unpopular before he entered politics. Nobody understands how he ended up in power, how ordinary folk were swayed by such an unpleasant character. If he'd run as a democrat, the British people would still hate him.

The protests at any visit would make history.

Exactly, that's why he needs to stay home and leave you folks to your discontent.

Nearly 2 million signed a petition against a visit by him in 2017 ,after nearly a year in power I would expect that another petition to at least double that figure .If he does visit the UK expect the biggest number of protesters ever .
