Why you wear bra?

I don't own many thin bras because I can see my nipples poking through and I feel self-conscious. But if I'm in a sexy mood, I don't wear any bra but I do that at home.

mmm, I like that, it woudl be nice to get brave enough to without on a nice day. I'm sure you sould enjoy the attention. And most men would be nice about it, trying to hide that they were looking, but they would look. :)

My boyfriend loves when I wear lace bras under thin t-shirts and then go out in public.

They are excellent thermometers for anyone within viewing distance! haha.

Very nice, I would enjoy that too, when walking with you I would watch how men looked at your breasts. And when when we were done with our walk, I would do things with your breasts. :)

I would love to talk with you privately about this situation, but your pms are turned off, PM me if you would like to talk (and make sure you turn them on) :)

I don't understand wearing a bra while sleeping, but to each her own.

For daily wear, I think a bra make my figure more attractive. (C cup, by the way. Left breast slightly larger than the right). Plus, it is very obvious when I am cold which is something I keep in mind when selecting a new bra.

I didn't understand it either. But she did have nice ones for a 38 year old. I sure do miss sucking on them.

I wear a bra because I have 40D breasts. It's painful to do anything strenuous without one. Plus I like the way it makes them look.

I wear one because to me it is more comfortable. I feel more supported. I don't need them to bounce around unless I am running or jiggling them on purpose. I am one of those who sleeps with her bra on(on most days anyways) its not something I was taught to do its just that I feel more comfortable that way. plus I think bras are sexy.

I had always wore a 36dd and thought it was the right size. A trip to Bravissimo told me I was wrong and am actually a 32G, they do such pretty bra's in larger sizes.

I was wearing a 44 DDD, after being measured a few yrs ago I ended up in a 36G.

I was sure it was wrong ('cause it sounded HUGE and I'm not THAT big) but it's the first time I wore a bra where the middle section between the cups actually set flat against the breastbone like it's suppose to, and didn't sit too high in the back.

I definitely recommend getting measured (by someone who knows what they'r'e doing).

you should be measured every year(at least) for bra fitting. Weight gain or loss, hormonal changes such as pregnancy and menopause may affect and change your bra size. even if your weight hasn't changed your bra may be ill fitting because even though your weight is the same, the way you wear your weight may have shifted(exemple if you started exercising).

You stole my answer! :D

Nah, I kid! My boobs aren't big by anyone's standards, but they still get in the way of my workouts. I'm working on fat loss at the moment, so I'm hoping they'll get even smaller.

They will - not by much, though - especially if you're incorporating weight training in your regime. At least, that's my experience. I had to throw away all my newly bought bras (I had a breast reduction) after several months of focused work outs. Oh, poor me, going lingerie shopping  :D

Otherwise, I wear a bra because big, unbridled boobs cause back pain and tend to look bad in clothing without one.

This is basically why I wear bras. I haven't been out of the house without a bra since fifth grade.

As others have said, bras also make me feel sexy--nothing like a cute bra and panty set under my plain jeans and sweater. :D

My significant other recently asked me to take her shopping because she is busting out of her DD bra. She refuses to leave the house without wearing a bra, because using her words, they will sag down to her ankles. I'd have no problem whatsoever with her letting them sag. I see her naked all the time, and I think that they look just fine. Wearing a bra seems to make her feel more comfortable, so I guess it's time for us to go shopping :)

I love a pretty bra! It is great for feeling sexy all day long. Plus I love getting some great cleavage. I'm not big, average really. My hubby thinks I show a bit too much at times, but I really love having some curves I can control on a daily basis. And it can be controlled by your mood. Theres the comfort bra, the t shirt bra, and the sexy cleavage bra. Options! Gotta love that. :)

I grew up during the "braless rage" of the late sixties, early seventies. Great for seeing nipples. Problem was I love big boobs and rail thin bodies were the fashion. Nothing I like seeing more than a woman with big breasts, braless, with them swaying and wobbling. Doesn't happen often enough.

After breastfeeding 2 babies, these puppies are heading south, not helped by the fact that they grew to G cup when I was pregnant and stayed that big.
Bras drag on my sholders (due to the weight), but not having them on is more uncomfortable, plus having my cleevage around my tummy button is not all that attractive!!

My boobs are only small so I dont always wear a bra.But if I am going out I think a bit of padding and uplift makes them look nicer and I think a nice bra can look sexy

Some people claim sleeping in a bra prevents sagging. As far as I know there have been a couple of studies, and it's pretty much been debunked.

I slept in one for the first 10 yrs or so I wore a bra. Unfortunately I don't think it made a bit of difference (they've never been especially firm or high, and look the about same now after 10-ish years of not sleeping in one as they did then).

This is what I always heard too. Of course too late in life for me to try the theory.

You could always get the Barbie look and have them removed like on last weeks episode of Nip Tuck. LOL

oh, mylanta! I saw that! was that not heartbreaking? lol I was aghast. I am utterly breast-obsessed, and she had such cute little boobs that I was like "noooo!" lol. I know, I know. It's just TV ;)

oops, forgot to type an actual answer to the post lol.

I wear a bra because I already jiggle everywhere else and I love lingerie :D

I have a very firm set of 34b's that I'm lucky are almost perfect in shape...all I ever need to do is control the jiggle/hard nipple for work. I wore bras my whole life 'til meeting my present/2nd husband (when I was 55)...he has shown me how proud I can/should be of my body and I can't imagine not being a little flirty or dressing sexy when I can...in fact my whole view of life has evolved and I've found a sense of freedom I never knew existed! I do like pretty lingerie though! (and so does my husband)

My older sister has larger breasts that require a bra...she so wishes she could just throw hers away!!!

Cultural tradition and gravitational pull seem to dictate that I wear a bra. It's necessary but not fun. They can't really be called "pretty" for my size. More like industrial.
