Will Wall Street firms STOP giving $400k to Obama for a speech?

Former president cashes in on speaking fees during first year out of office

A little something to make all you alt-right fellas smile...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Clinton raked in $9.2 million in speaking fees in his first year out of office.

Ronald Reagan made news when he pulled in $2 million for two speeches in Japan just after leaving office in 1989. Former President Bush earns about $80,000 a speech, but he once earned more than $14 million for a 1999 speech for which he was paid by a telecommunications company in shares that later skyrocketed in value.

Jimmy Carter seldom accepts speaking fees and when he does he typically donates the proceeds to his charitable foundation.
