last night

Thought id share my yesterday with yall. So I went to meet a man from online yesterday for coffee. We were both very honest and I knew he wanted me but he knew I didnt want him. So just a drink. No problem. We met yesterday afternoon. Had a couple drinks. Well I had pop cause I had to work. Anyway it was a rather boring meeting. Didnt have much to talk about. So we said goodbye eventually and he asked me to call him after work. So I did just to be polite. He wasnt at his hotel(hes in town for some work convention) So I went home. I was in bed reading later on almost reading to go to sleep. And my phone rings. Its him. Hes drunk and asking me if its too late for me to go over there. Seeing as he had told me the bar in the hotel had closed recently and was no longer open it was obvious he was calling for sex. How lame! He knew Ididnt want him. I am a very affectionate person and hug most ppl. Yet I didnt hug him at all that afternoon or even touch him. And he thought I would show up at his hotel room at midnight for a quickie? Give me a break! Needless to say I told him no and said goodnight. God its one thing to be out for a good time. But not with a creep like that! Lol wait till he calls to ask me for lunch later this week. I will be telling him I dont appreciate booty calls at midnight from a man Ihad clearly stated I didnt want. And I will not be going out with him again. Oh and tell your wife I said hello! Lmao.....I can be so nasty! Anyway ladies and gents....that was my lovely evening thought Id share it with you. Lol.....**** fun.....latersssssss

Bad Night Out

Hey Sweet One,

Sorry about your bad lunch out. Meeting another lit member doesn't have to be a bad thing. But it is obvious that is smart to have an understanding in advance of what lunch will entail. If it is just to converse, to flirt, to be friiendly...then it can be a nice diversion.

If the objective is just sex, that is important to know as well.

I have read of a few lit members getting together socially with nothing so much as having a good time. Others have gotten together for steamier times. And yet others have forged relationships with one another that are permanent and lasting and sometimes end in marriage or the equivalent till death do us part.

Once again, Sweet One, sorry for your bad lunch. Keep you chin up. Not all lit members are going to make you feel uncomfortable. As long as fun and festivities are part of the plan, how can you go wrong?

Crummy Lunch Dates Suck

Hey SweetOne, too bad about the loser lunch-date. It sounds like if you wind up in Winnipeg for a bit, though, you would have lots of friendlier, more enjoyable lunch get-togethers!

On a different note altogether, has anybody else seen the new Mountain Equipment Co-op building at Donald and Portage yet? They pulled down the wooden wall last week, and it just looks incredible - especially compared to the crappy building that was there originally!

Don't get me wrong - the old building was a cool style, and I'm sure before it began to rot away from disuse, that it was equally cool inside. It is just so nice to see the downtown getting revitalized like this.

(BTW, I am one of those people looking forward to the True North Centre, if for no other reason than for SOMETHING to be done with the Eaton's block. Having rotting, abandoned buildings downtown doesn't help anybody.)

Ya know, I'm quite surprised I haven't received any response form people I've tattooed at those B&B balls ...hmm...

Anyoldway, anybody remember/know when the Fringe starts this year? And whether or not that Portage Avenue Street Festival will be happening again this year? (last years' was way cool - I ended up buying a Fubuki Daiko CD after watching them perform at the CBC stage).

by the by, the weather looks just fantastic for the weekend here in the peg !

...so...This guy goes to see his doctor. His doctor walks into the office, and sees that the guy is just covered in bruises and makeshift bandages.

'What the heck happened to you!' the doctor says with obvious concern and surprise.

'Well, Doc,' the guy responds, 'I went golfing with my wife yesterday. We were on the ninth hole, when my wife knocks her ball off into this cow pasture beside the course. So, we both head off into the field to try to find her ball.

'I'm scouting out ahead of her, where some cows are grazing, when I notice this white spot on the back of one cow. I walk over, and sure enough, there is her ball, stuck in the cows' butt.'

The doctor looks alarmed at this. 'So, then what happened?'

'Well,' the man continued,' I lifted up the tail and called out to my wife "Hey, Honey, this looks like yours!".'

Great joke ive never heard it lol. And you lose the virgin at 100 posts im pretty sure when you get your AV. So you have a lot of rambling to do lol. Really it feels like it will take forever but I went from 30 to 70 something so fast I had no clue. So good luck loosing your virginity. And remember....the first time usually isnt much fun. teehee

They good a good job on the building just as they did with the A & B Buillding next door. Likewise, the Avenue Nire Club did wonders for the old bank building a few doors down. Best sign of life for the north side of Portage yet. Expect we'll see more when the college is completed on Princess.

As for the arena, it seems to be going forward despite the complaints of the group dedicated to stopping it in any form whatsoever.
