Winter Holiday 2010 Contest Support Thread

I'd just like to advise all Winter Holliday Contest followers that A.I.R. will be announcing another MANU :D AWARD winner in conjunction with this contest.

Just in case anyone missed it here is the announcement of the Halloween contest MANU winner:

ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS (A.I.R.)

LITEROTICA’S LIFETIME ACHIEVMENT AWARD

The Board of Directors of the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS (A.I.R.) have decided that it would be appropriate to honor one of the giants of LITEROTICA fiction at the end of each of the Special Contests.

We have decided to call this new prize, one we believe will soon become emblematic of erotic fiction excellence and the most respected author’s award in the genre, the MANU. This name of course honors the first PRINCE of erotic fiction, a man who’s become a giant in the field of erotic publishing.

the :D MANU :D award

These prizes will be awarded based on the author’s complete body of work. This is the third MANU to be awarded.

He’s LITEROTICA’S most prolific author and has published 1235 submissions on the site. And he’s done it as a black man! One of the few true black voices we have on the site. And he’s done it in spite of all the racial hate that’s been thrown at him. It’s always been fine for white, middle aged ladies to write about interracial sex here but apparently that doesn’t apply to our friend Sam. Everyone hates him for calling it as it is – who gives us the real lowdown on black cocks and white pussy – not some sanitized, white washed version. He in fact is perhaps the most authentic voice we have here on LITEROTICA, he’s:

Mokkelke,

You know, I was thinking that as I read the post. What about those in the other parts of the world? Glad you brought it up.

I've celebrated Christmas Day on Bondi Beach, Sydney, NSW, Australia - surfing followed by turkey, brussels sprouts and Christmas Pudding.

I think if I had eaten first and then gone surfing - I would have sunk.

Og

Og,

Then it's a good thing you didn't, eat before hand. :) Surfing on Christmas; that sounds like an intersting story to read! What is in this Christmas pudding?

brussel sprouts ARE heavy on the stomach, wise decision there *grins*

Someone could write a story featuring Mrs. Claus and post it in Loving Wives.

Whoo Hoo! Started my story today - two pages down, but this one will need a lot of polishing to be what I want - Hallmark Channel goes porn!

I don't recall ever seeing one, but what about a story about a New Year Eve's party? It's certainly winter and it's traditional.

Hmmmm, she lives around a lot of men who make eerrrr uumm "toys" - seriously has potential there Bebe!

You go ahead and write it; I was just trying to inject a little levity.
Though I did write an article about the hottest Christmas toys for a newspaper once, and I had Santa's chief elf, Old Bob, replaced by an elf from "Corporate" whom Mrs. Claus seemed to favor. Santa wasn't too happy about either the new elf nor Mrs. Claus' attitude toward him.

Possibilities, possibilities...

I keep gettting these flashes of Mrs. Claus, elves, chains, a St. Bernard and Hawaii.
And it's not the old Mrs. Claus, either; it's the trophy Mrs. Claus Santa acquired recently. He likes to flaunt her at Sardi's in front of his friends the Easter Bunny, Uncle Sam and Baby New Year.

Og,

Is it a recipe that's been in your family for generations? I did read about it, but that cut and dry article was lacking in the sensation department. I can't smell or taste it from that little description...can you describe it better? :)

My brother used to be a research chemist for a major bakery company. One year he arrived with 50 different Christmas Puddings for us to sample. Each one was accompanied by a two-page survey form. We went off Christmas Pudding that year.

My mother used to make her own Christmas Pudding. We don't because it is too rich for my diet. We buy small ones from a supermarket. The range available in the UK is enormous but I like Waitrose's own.

Og,

50? Wow! Yeah, I guess that was a decidely wise decision that year. It's good you still get to enjoy a bit of it, even if it is not homemade. A nostalgic dish, I would think.

That's funny.. I'm not sure I would want to try 50 different ones, lol.
I was at my grandma's yesterday trying to hunt down my great-grandma's hickory nut cake recipie. She always made it for Christmas eve until she wasn't able.
I made it one year, and it was freaking hard! lol.
So yesterday I told my grandma I wanted to make one, and she looked at me and said, "Yeah. Well, where ya gonna get the hockory nuts?"
Good question. Hard as hell to find. The one time I made it, I had to steal them out of my great-grandma's freezer. :D I think I'm gonna have to hit up the Amish stores or find another speciality store.
It'll be worth it in the end though! :)
Sorry, had to butt in with the 'nostalgic dish' part and all. :p

Come on down and bring a few washtubs with ya. I'll load ya up with hickory nuts. I have a few dozen trees behind my house. You get to shell them though. Even the squirrels turn up their noses until late into the winter. :D

I have one story finished for the contest and another started. Yay me.

Crap. I found another unfinished Christmas story in my 'in progress' pile. I'm trying desperately to get rid of a bunch of these half-finished stories, but I just keep finding more. Sometimes I think it's a miracle I finish any of these. During my inventory I found 2 Summer-lovin, 1 Halloween, 2 Xmas stories, 1 Valentine and 1 How-to that are all about 1/2 way complete. And now I've got the NaNoWriMo distraction. *sigh*

My Halloween story has been getting hammered ever since the winner posting. Dropped from 4.80 to 4.73 in two days. It's nice to have fans.

You think you've got problems:D

Aww, Tx, I sure do appreciate the offer... but no thanks.
I'm not a shellin' kinda girl. ;) :p
If I show you my boobies will you do it?? Muahaha!

Yay on the story!

I have a couple started that would work but... ehh. I don't know what I'm going to do.
*sigh* I think I'm gonna have to start a new one. :D

Don’t be shy, don’t be slow, spent all my money on mistletoe.
Only got one dream, just one wish.. and you're right on the top of my list.
Don’t need a gift, don’t bother to shop, just make sure I’m your last stop..
Stay a little longer Santa, honey, won't you stay..

So whats the rush? What's the hurry.. snuggle up, forget your worries,
Dancer and Prancer can fend for themselves, and I don't wanna hear about those elves..
Deck the halls with lots of holly, and I know how to make you very jolly..
Stay a Little Longer Santa ~ Shemekia Copeland

Santa In Chains?

Elves Do It Short and Sweet?

Deck the Dungeon?

Wankin' In a Winter Wonderland?

Oh, now I'm thinking a whole medly of carols with very messy results.

Think I'll start with the Boar's Whores Carol.....

I started writing today at work. With pen and paper mind you, lol.
I now have about 8 sheets front and back. I don't know how many computer pages that is though, lol.
(And my handwriting is huge. :p)
Anyway, my goal in life is to type it up in the morning. :)
I am excited about it.. I hope its deeper than just a sex story when it's cold outside.
Good luck to me! lol.
