200 ballots would not have changed the outcome -- and these were mail-in ballots, which Republicans are iffy about counting anyway.

Now you suspect the election officials of cheating. Bear in mind, that is an entirely different thing than voter fraud. It is also almost impossible to arrange, because elections are run and votes counted at the county level, not state or federal.

How is not counting votes, "cheating". While it's wrong, the person has no idea who those votes were for. It's not like she discarded 200 Republican ballots....fuck you're a sucker. First it's voter fraud, now it's election official fraud....

Justice Allison Riggs, the Democratic candidate, prevailed over her Republican opponent, Jefferson Griffin, by 734 votes in last November’s race for a seat on the North Carolina Supreme Court. Griffin refused to concede and launched a series of legal challenges before the State Board of Elections, which rejected them.

Last week, the state Supreme Court that Griffin hopes to join rejected most of his claims and reinstated tens of thousands of ballots that would have been set aside. But four Republican justices, a majority on the seven-seat court, also ruled that roughly 5,000 ballots cast by overseas and military voters in last fall’s election must be thrown out unless those voters can prove their identity within 30 days.

Perhaps the most troubling aspect of Griffin’s case is that it only targets a handful of counties—specifically, four heavily Democratic counties where Riggs is likely to have received far more votes. As Vox’s Ian Millhiser and others have noted, this approach violates the Supreme Court’s holding in the 2000 case Bush v. Gore that applying different state election rules in different jurisdictions violated the federal equal protection clause.

The Republican attempt to steal a state Supreme Court election in North Carolina failed!

Republican Judge Jefferson Griffin’s attempt to throw out votes on military and overseas absentee ballots is unconstitutional, federal District Judge Richard Myers ruled Monday.

In a 68-page ruling, Myers said the state Board of Elections should certify the election results based on the tally of all eligible votes in November, which means Democratic incumbent Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs would prevail in the race for the seat on the high court over Griffin. Her 734-vote lead over Griffin was confirmed in two recounts.

It’s good to see that federal judges won’t support MAGA election fraud.
