Yep, itās true that mass-produced symbols can lose meaning without the right context or intention.Symbols have power, sure, but the image isn't the symbol. At best it's a symbol of a symbol. About as good as the tacky mass-produced versions tourists can buy.
But bedtime is not the best time for this conversation.![]()
But then I could argue the power of a symbol isnāt in how āauthenticā it appears, but in the relationship the person has with it.
My tattoo isnāt trying to replicate the original, itās a personal emblem, not a replica. But yes, not an ideal late-night debate by any means!
