Maybe It’s Time for a Little Reintroduction…some thoughts and a little rant. (It’s been a while) 😏

I feel like maybeee it’s time I do a bit of an introduction again…a little “get to know me,” if you will. I’ve been around here for a short while now, since February of last year and although I’ve shared plenty of my pictures, stories and writing, I’ve realised I haven’t really talked about ‘me’ (the bean that doesn’t just strip off on the internet) in a while and I want to reintroduce her to yall.

Before I move on, as much as I love being here, (and I do genuinly love), chatting, sharing, and connecting, I’ll admit, (and I’m SORRYYY), I’m not the best at replying to every single message. After responding in the thread or posting, I usually close my laptop, close the tab on my phone and get back into the real world. It’s not personal, I don’t try to be out right rude but I really find it hard to keep up sometimes. Especially now that you know, I’ll mention it for the a millionth time, that I’m studying 🙄 I know some people can reply to every single message, and that’s great for them, like good for you but I get SO MANY I don’t know how they do it!… and for me personally, it feels a bit… detached. Like you’re replying for the sake of replying, rather than because you actually care about who you’re talking to. And I’ve never been a people pleaser to that extent. 😝 I would rather have a handful of amazing connections than a hundred short responses from someone who just wants to reply quickly.

I ALSO really struggle to tell when someone is being genuine. Especially here. What I mean by that is when someone actually wants to get to know me, versus when they just want more sex chats or pictures than I share on the thread. I had someone tell me once that no one really cares about “me” here, it’s simply what I have to offer. But I’m still here ;) still trying to reach those of you that I know are deeper than a two dimensional dick behind a screen. 😂

On to some things about me:
  • I cook or bake something from scratch every day. Yesterday was cheese and broccoli soup.
  • I walk at least 10–15k a day so I can eat what I want. I’m not into diet culture or “clean living.” I’d rather enjoy food than obsess over it 🙄
  • I’m in my third year studying forensic psychology. I’m fascinated by what makes people tick, especially the broken parts. I’ve been called a “fixer” by many people in my life.
  • I read a lot. My favourite genre is splatterpunk. I like gore, the kind of stuff that grosses out most normal people and makes them uncomfortable 🤭
  • I’m adopted.
  • I like people who are genuine and funny.
  • I dislike people with a huge ego and those that aren’t kind.
  • I love always having my nails done and feeling presented.
  • I’m Latvian and speak it fluently. I learnt both languages (English and Lat.) simultaneously when I was adopted at 6 months.
  • I have two cats: Cheeto and Bilbo. They’re the most important members of my family.
  • I fucking hate small talk.
  • I’m a HUGE over thinker and incredibly sensitive.
  • I should probably quit smoking.
  • I love sex.

  • I had a thread before the great purge and look to start a new one
  • Believe that kindness does in fact rule

  • Only speak English, parents were afraid we wouldn’t be able to assimilate

  • Work out 5 days a week so I can do the above plus the older you get the harder you have to work to just maintain
  • Major in Psychology and minor in Philosophy but ended up in the corporate finance world

As I have replied before, life before Lit.
The ones who truly care about you want you to be successful and stable and want you to make sure you are taken care of.
As much as you like to share the naughty stuff, the Bean behind the screenname is just as important and seeing her happy make them happy, including me.
Being on and off here for a long time has taught me that.
I have made a bunch of friends on here and lost them because of this. So this is important. 😘😘😘

-Married for almost 30 years, but it feels more like a marriage of convenience to help take care of my Special Needs son.

-Work-a-holic because that's the way I am.
