"Ok, we're here. I've car waiting out front to to take you two to the hotel, then I'm going to see Mike."

I watch as you behave more like a teenager then the husband I used to know.

We get in the car and head into town.
"I could get used to traveling like this, no worries about the bags.

It's about 1/2 hour into town we pull up to a quant bed and breakfast.
Nancy drops us off then heads into town to see her friend Mike.

Once we are in the rooms, I look out the window

Thinking who is this man, and why wasn't he bitten years ago. Also makes me realize how bad our marriage was before. Wow, we were just coasting it.

I am finished with my shower, when we get a text from Nancy

"We're down in the lobby now, or if your not ready will be in the bar."

Heading down we see Nancy sitting next to a very good looking man, obviously a man who is outdoors a lot, has that look. About the same size as you are now, which I wasn't expecting.

I take your hand as we walk over to them, I smile and extend my hand.

"Hi, I'm Jake and this is my wife April, nice to meet you"

I'm not sure what to call him, Mike doesn't seem right, and just doctor doesn't either!

"Nancy has told me so much about you both, and please call me Mike, or Doc, whichever you find easier"

I just blurted it out, addressing the elephant in the room so as to get it out of the way as quickly as possible!

I know that is confusing and vague, but we will do our best to fill in all the blanks!"

I drive us to my place, and it lies somewhere between the image of an estate and a very nice ranch.

We all go inside and take a seat at a huge dining room table, the decor is like out of a movie or something really cool, but almost creepy in a way

I look at the seemingly endless parade of food being brought to the table, it's a feast fit for a king! I must say the wait staff seem a little different, but I focus on the food and forget about them.

"Oh my god mike, it's like you read my mind" I think for a minute and then make a funny face. "Or you've studied the affects of being bitten by a werewolf for years!" I chuckle and he says to dig in, no prayers or fancy pageantry, just eat, which works great for me.

I look at all the food, normally I'd say a weeks worth at least.
But watching Mike and Jake start shoveling it down. I can see that it's just going to be dinner.

Nancy and I take human sized portions. The meat is very rare, which would usually be something he wouldn't touch. But he's eating like he was starving.

Giving him a look, to slow down.

"The open air up here sure seems to open appetites.

"Yes it does" Rolling her eyes as the two men, weremen?? Eat

"Finally the meal is finished including slices of a warm peach pie.

"Let's go sit on the back deck. You two probably need a drink"

I give a long belch,

We all laugh at that, well Jake just smiles, but it was still pretty funny!

Now it's my turn to make them feel less comfortable. With a big smile I retort.

Out on the deck, there is a nice fire going in the firepit. chairs arranged around it. I see he can entertain up to about 20 people out here.

The moon coming up. I'm relieved that it's not anywhere close to a full moon.
The woods dark and mysterious

I say looking around, it's a combination of the house décor and just the look and feel of the whole area! If it weren't for Nancy, I think I would push for going back home.

"The woods here are not safe at night, there are predators, real wolves, cougars, mountain lions even bears"

"The people here are much more superstitious and not as intelligent as Jake, that being said, I have success stories, you saw a couple of them serving our food tonight, and my star pupil you will meet tomorrow!"

I glance at my phone, and at Nancy and give her a smile.

"I think we should get you back to your hotel, I wish you would have stayed here, but Nancy said you didn't want to impose. So here's a toast to a great evening, and even better tomorrow!"

I hold up my drink and we toast, clinking our glasses together as I watch Jake struggle to finish his.

"Thank you for a wonderful feast and better company"

We get up together as you hug Nancy and I shake Mikes hand though he pulls me in for a bro hug, we switch and I watch Mike hug you and I keep an eye on his hands, he behaves, but I'm pretty sure Nancy patted my butt!

"Our driver will take you back to your hotel if you don't mind!"

"Sounds good, thanks again, what time are you picking us up in the morning?"

"Should be at ten if that works for you both"

We nod and the driver appears and takes us back to our room.

Interesting that she said that, but seeing the looks between the two of them I know why she did.
As we leave there are hugs all around. Mikes was tight and close and I swear he copped a feel as we pulled apart, but so fast hard to tell.

We get in the car you start to say something, But I shake my head nodding towards the driver.
I kind of trust Mike, but not totally.
Something seems a bit off here.

We get back in our room. I room order a couple beers for you and a bottle of wine for me.

I take my beer and we go to the balcony to sit, or actually recline on a huge futon kind of patio love seat. You snuggle up to me and sip your wine as I down half of my beer in one gulp.

As much as I want to make love to you right now, it also feels right to just hold you and feel your heart beating and your breath on my chest.
