Wondering, and need help.

I've been wondering about "pyl". The link to the dictionary at Bondage.com seems to be broken at the moment or I would just look it up.

Anyone? (And, as was suggested earlier, the more commentary the better.)

Blame AngelicAssasin for the PYL/pyl habits in the BDSM forums at Lit... I believe he started it, and it kinda stuck. (Said with a kind nod in Mr. Assasin's direction.)

It can be a handy form of shorthand for Top/Dom/Domme and Bottom/Submissive/Slave, without stepping all over the toes of those who see a difference between Top/Dom or Bottom/Submissive, etc.
