Just occurred to me randomly. For instance, a story called "Changing Room" that's about a room that:

• Changes your gender identity
• Changes your physical sexual anatomy
• Changes your luck (so a loser is suddenly a sex magnet and vice-versa)
• Changes your sexual preference (hetero <---> homo)
• More subtly: changes your relationship dynamic, so the passive one now takes the lead
• Etc.

Any others?

Not quite what you're asking for, but the changing room can be personified by an elevator. In psychology we can see that elevators are great tools for people to get the right mindset. The temporary pause while waiting gives opportunity to reflect and change their personality.

It would make narrative sense. Between the closing and opening of the doors you can change a lot.

I love the multiple meanings in text. It gives it a playful element. It is both great for creativity in writing, as well as reading.

I'm sure I have some great words/titles for you, but right now I'm drawing blanks. Though proverbs and idioms are full of double meanings. I'll see if I can scrounge up some later for titles.

That's one I've had sitting in my ideas file for a while. A clothing store where any piece of clothing you try on magically fits, because the changing room changes you to make it fit.

You could go in a lot of directions with that.

• A frat pledge has to try on a bikini as part of his hazing, comes out of the changing room with it fitting her body perfectly.
• Woman accidentally puts on a big blouse and becomes obese (fat fetish).

Depending on what you mean by "fit", a person could put on a trashy pair of giant, dangly earings and become a slut, or a piece of sportswear (say, a baseball jersey) and become an athlete.

Someone figures it out and "tries on" an extra-large condom or bra in there ....
