Joe Davis wrapped the towel around his neck as he stood up, his chest heaving as he regained his breath. It felt good to being working out again, he thought as he wiped his forearm across his face, wiping the sweat away as he glanced around the sparsely populated gym. He liked coming here early in the day, there weren't that many other people here so he could move through the machines without waiting too long for someone else to finish their workout. Wiping his face once more, Joe reached up to grip the handles of the lat machine, his eyes following one spandex clad woman as she walked by. That's the other benefit of coming here early, Joe thought to himself as he pulled the bar down towards his chest, his eyes still following the woman's spandex clad ass, all the Mom's and stay at home wives come during the day.

Joe had only been back in town for a few weeks, his company having transferred him back here to start up another outlet. It was good being back in his old stomping ground, although he wished that some of his old friends were still around. It seemed that in the year he had been away almost everyone he knew had moved somewhere else. "Oh well," Joe sighed as he finished up his workout, toweling the sweat off his face as he started towards the locker room. At 33, Joe was in pretty good shape, better shape than he had been in college if he was honest about it. He worked out a couple of times a week, as often as his job would allow him too. Entering the locker room, Joe glanced at his reflection, his dark brown hair was plastered to his forehead as he peeled his sweat soaked shirt off over his head. A quick shower and then off to work, Joe thought to himself as stripped down.

After a hot shower, Joe dressed in the dark blue pants and shirt that were the uniform of his company, stuffing his workout clothes into his duffel bag. Stepping out of the locker room, Joe glanced around the gym quickly, his eyes widening slightly as he recognized one person. "I don't believe it," Joe chuckled to himself as he watched the attractive woman on the elliptical. "Amy Sanderson." Joe had always had a thing for Amy, ever since his roommate had first introduced them. What Joe hadn't realized at the time he first met her was that Amy was cheating on her husband with Mark, a fact that Mark didn't share with Joe until after he'd moved away. Joe had fantasized about Amy numerous times but after Mark had moved out of town Joe had thought he'd never see her again. But there she is, Joe mused to himself, watching her she pedaled the elliptical, oblivious to the rest of the world. She's still looking good, Joe noted, his eyes running over her body, I thought that she'd had a kid. If she did, she certainly kept her shape afterwards. As he watched her workout, all of his old fantasies began floating through Joe's head. I wonder if she remembers me?" Joe thought as he moved towards the elliptical.

"Amy? Amy Sanderson?" He asked with false doubt as if he wasn't sure it was really her. "Hi, Joe Davis. Do you remember me?" He asked with a smile.

Amy Sanderson came nearly every weekday to the gym, after she had dropped of her about one year old son Marc at the nursery. She had always been proud of her body and after she had given birth to Marc she had worked hard to get that body back. Now at 25 she was looking again like the ‘just out of collage‘ girl, that had married her husband Kevin three and a half years ago. Her life was good and Amy was very happy that everything had turned out so well, although the first two years of their marriage had not been easy, since Kevin‘s job was taking him away from home very often.

Amy was pedalling on the elliptical and was listening to some work out music on her i-pod when she realised that someone was calling her name. She looked up from the digital display of the work-out machine and took the earphones out. Since Amy had many friends at the gym, thus it was not uncommon that someone would come over to talk to her, but most of those were women. To her surprise the person calling her was Joe Davis, someone who she had not expected to see again, nor had Amy any real interest in talking to him. Nevertheless, she stopped her work-out program and got off the elliptical to greet Joe.

Amy had never really liked Joe, and she had always felt uncomfortable around him when she had been over as his and Mark‘s place. She had always had the feeling that Joe had enjoyed to check out her 5‘4 tall body, and exactly that feeling was returning to her now that she was standing in front of him. Her blond shoulder long hair was tied together in a pony tail and she was wearing a pink sports top and a matching tight black spandex pants that turned pink at the waistband as well.

She held out her hand for Joe to shake and smiled at him. “Hi, Joe, what a surprise to see you again. Are you back in town? What brings you to this gym at this early time of the day?”

Joe Davis

Joe watched as Amy shut the elliptical off, stepping down to greet him with what he felt was a forced smile. She's looking good, He noted, his eyes running over her small frame, admiring the way the black spandex pants clung to her body, maybe even better than she used to.

"Yeah, I'm back in town," Joe shrugged as he took her hand, holding it for a few seconds longer than a normal handshake called for. "My company just opened another store over on Riverside," He explained, releasing her hand as he tried not to continuously glance down at her chest as she stood in front of him, "so they transferred me back here since I know the town. I come here most mornings before I head off to work," He explained as he glanced around the sparsely populated gym. "I like to work out before it gets too crowded."

"How about you?" He asked, changing the subject back to her. "God, it seems like forever since I've seen you. I heard that you had a baby?" He asked, omitting that he'd heard that from Mark who was panicked that the baby might have been his rather than her husband's. "Is... Kevin still travelling for his business?" He asked, pausing as he tried to remember her husband's name. Even as he was making small talk, Joe was wondering if Amy realized how much he knew of her and Mark's relationship. She had always acted so proper towards Joe, always playing that she was just a casual acquaintance of Mark's, but his former roommate had shared all the sordid details with Joe. "Say would you like to grab a cup of coffee after your workout?" He asked suddenly, an idea beginning to form in the back of his mind.

Amy was not thrilled to hear that Joe was back in town for good, because he was part of a passed period of her life that Amy preferred to forget about. Amy had married Kevin when she had just turned 21. At that time it looked like a match made in heaven and Amy had been a happy woman and wife. Although Amy had always been in love with her husband, she had not always been faithful to him. It had all started with Kevin getting promoted about a year after their marriage. He was an accountant for a large company and due to his promotion he had to visit many of the companies nationwide branches to check the books and stock. However, this was putting extra stress on the young relationship and Amy was feeling abandoned.

When one day, while being alone again and out shopping, Amy ran into her old high school sweet heart Mark. They were still friendly and met for a cup of coffee and then one thing let to the other. Mark became Amy’s secret lover, who was taking Kevin’s spot when he was out of town. Everything had been fine for a while until Amy became pregnant, and out of fear that he would get stuck with the kid Mark took off. Ever since then Amy had been faithful to her husband Kevin and the void in her life, that she felt when her husband was out of town was filled by the new men in her life, her son Marcus, who Amy usually called just Marc.

During their affair Amy and Mark had been very discreet about everything. They had tried to keep everything as secret as good as possible. Because they wanted to protect Amy from any talk in the neighbourhood and Amy did not want to hurt her husband’s feelings in any way. However, Amy had always feared that Joe might have noticed something, but when he moved out of town shortly after Amy and Mark broke up, she had felt safe and had started to forget about everything. Now with him standing in front of her, that fear came back with all its might. Since Amy did not want to offend Joe and push him into doing something stupid she decided to play along for the time being.

“I am doing fine, thanks. Yes, Kevin and I are the proud parents of of our son Marcus, now. He now nearly about a year old.” Amy smiled proudly when she talked about her son and small family. “Sadly, Kevin still has to travel a lot, but we hope that he might get promoted again so, so that he will have his people travelling for him.” Normally Amy would have rejected Joe’s offer for a coffee, but she did not want to show him that she feared his possible knowledge. She took a look at her watch and thought about it for a moment. “I have to pick up Marc from the nursery in an two hours, let me just finish my work out on the elliptical and I will get changed. How about we meet in 20 minutes in the Starbucks just around the corner.”

Joe Davis

"Congratulations," Joe said warmly as Amy talked about her son, her pride obvious in the way she spoke of him, although Joe did wonder briefly at the similarity between her son's name and that of her former lover. Mark and Marcus, hmm? He mused as she went on to talk about Kevin and his job, So hubby is still out of town a lot, wonder if she still gets lonely like she used to?

"Twenty minutes sounds good to me," Joe nodded in agreement, his mind working furiously as he smiled at the attractive young mother, trying to keep his eyes from over her shapely body. "I'll let you get back to your workout," He said, excusing himself as he turned back towards the exit. As he walked out to his car, Joe was turning several ideas over in his mind, so absorbed in his own thoughts that he almost stepped out in front of a car. Waving apologetically at the driver, Joe unlocked his car, tossing his gym bag into the backseat. "So Amy is still alone a large percentage of the time," He murmured to himself as he sat in his car, waiting for Amy to finish up her workout. "Kevin travels a lot, just like he used to. I doubt Amy ever told him about her affair with Mark. I wonder how much keeping that information secret is worth to her. There's no way she could know that Mark told me about the two of them. I wonder..." Joe continued to think, glancing at the clock periodically until it was almost time to meet Amy at the coffee shop.

As Joe entered the shop, he glanced around, spotting a table far in the back that was unoccupied. "Perfect," He smiled, moving through the sparsely crowded cafe towards the secluded table. He wanted some privacy for his planned talk with Amy. Taking the chair facing towards the door, Joe sat down and waited for Amy to arrive.

Amy was feeling relieved when Joe was leaving the gym to wait for her at the Starbucks. Since many people for her neighbourhood were members in the gym. Amy was afraid that someone might have seen her talking with Joe, thus she had suggested an outside location. The coffee shop was not a very private place neither, but it gave her time to think about how to approach Joe and how to find out what he might know and want.

The young mother got back onto the work out machine and continued her workout for the next seven minutes, until the chosen program was coming to an end. Her mind was not on her work out, all the time she was wondering about Joe and his offer to meet for a cup of coffee. Amy had never seen Joe as the kind of guy, who would just sit down for a coffee while exchanging pleasantries. When she had been seeing Marc, Joe had always seemed interested in her as well. Although Amy had never shown him any signs of interest, she feared that this crush on her was still alive, especially since Joe had not mentioned a wife or girlfriend.

After finishing her exercise, Amy went to the changing room and took a short shower and got dressed in her jeans, a turquoise neck holder top, and her sneakers. Her hair was still bound to a pony tail when she left the gym and went to her car to drop of her stuff. “Maybe he knows that I have been sleeping with Marc. And now he might hope that he can take over that job.” This thought was sending shivers down her spine, and she decided that she would have to make pretty clear that Joe would never have a shot at her.

During her training Amy had taking of her wedding and engagement rings. Now, she got them out of her handbag and did put them back onto her left hand to show Joe her commitment to her marriage. About 5 minutes late, Amy entered the Starbucks and saw Joe waiting in the back of the store. She walked over to him and sat down. “Hi, sorry, about being a bit late. So, how are you and how has life been treating you? Are you married by now?”

*************************************************************************
Joe glanced at his watch, wondering if Amy was actually going to show up. Perhaps she had agreed to meet him simply to get him to leave her alone, with no intention of actually meeting him? It's not like she can avoid me forever, Joe thought as he glanced towards the door once more.

He was just about to give up waiting for her, figuring he would try to corner her at the gym some morning, when he saw her enter the coffee shop. Worth the wait, Joe thought with a smile as he admired her body in her casual but somehow alluring outfit of jeans and shirt.
"Oh, don't worry about it," Joe shrugged as Amy apologized for being late, "I don't really have anything to do this morning," he lied, knowing that he was going to be late for work but not caring as the attractive young mother took the seat opposite him. He noticed that she was obviously wearing her wedding and engagement rings, toying with them as if to draw his attention to her marital status.

"Life has been pretty good to me," Joe replied to her question, leaning forward slightly to be nearer her. "Nothing exciting really, just the usual day to day stuff. Married? No," Joe laughed at her question. "I think I'm going to be single forever," he chuckled, "I was seeing someone before I moved back here, but she didn't want to relocate. So I'm single and looking," he assured her with a casual smile.

"Do you ever hear from Mark?"Joe asked casually, glancing around the sparsely populated coffee shop as he moved slightly closer to Amy, his voice dropping to a confidential whisper. "Did you ever tell your husband about the two of you?" He asked pointedly, his hand reaching out to cover hers, his fingers running over the golden band of her wedding ring.

Amy had gotten herself a grande Caffé Latte with low fat milk and fake sugar before she sat down on Joe’s table. She was happy to see that nobody from her circle of friends was in the Starbucks, so that she and Joe could talk in private without anybody knowing. The young mother was still very nervous and played with her wedding band when she and Joe exchanged some pleasantries.

It was not surprising for Amy, that Joe was a single once again. She had never actually believed that he might be married, because on the one hand, he was not the type of guy, who was interested in a long term monogamic relationship. And on the other hand, she doubted that there was a woman on earth that would be able and willing to live together with Joe Davis.

“Oh, too bad that the relationship did not work out, Joe. I am sorry to hear that.” The young wife was really sorry, because this meant that Joe was on the look out for a new partner. A wife, even if unlikely in existence, might have been able to keep Joe under control. “But it is nice to hear, that life has been treating you well.” Amy was about to accept that Joe might just be interested in a chat when he turned the topic to Mark and their affair.

Her heart was skipping a beat when Joe hinted that he knew more than Amy had expected. And when he placed his hand on her, a cold shiver ran over her spine. “Well, I have not heard from Mark in a while, I actually never got his new number or address, and he has not called ever since he moved.” Amy had been hoping to hear from Mark for a while after he had left, but she had given up on him some time ago. “Of cause Kevin knows that Mark and I had been friends since high school, but I guess there is nothing special about being friends.” Amy knew perfectly well, was Joe wanted to hint at, but she thought that it might be best to play dumb and to admit nothing.

Joe Davis

Joe nodded his head as Amy expressed her regrets that his last relationship hadn't worked out. Actually she was a clingy bitch, Joe added silently, his thoughts going back to Marie for a brief moment. When he had first met her, Marie had seemed like his ideal woman, wild, fun, carefree... Unfortunately after a few months of dating, she had changed. He remembered the fights that they had had whenever he'd come home from work late, her accusations of his imagined infidelity driving him to seek comfort in another woman's arms.

"I guess there is nothing special about being friends.” She assured him with a weak smile. Joe had to smile as Amy attempted to dodge the true nature of her relationship with Mark.

"We should be friends, Amy," He asked, emphasizing the word she had chosen to describe her relationship with his former roommate. "Since Kevin doesn't mind you having friends, that is." Joe laughed, his eye intent on her as he waited to see how she would react to his implication. "Why don't you stop by tonight, Amy, and we can discuss it," he suggested after a few seconds, sliding a card across the table towards her, "unless Kevin really does mind you having friends like Mark. Or perhaps he doesn't know the true depth of your friendship with Mark, Amy?"

Amy felt her heart skip a beat, her worst fear had become true. Joe seemed to know about the real dimensions of her relationship with Mark. The young mother guessed that Mark had probable not been as discreet about their relationship as she had been. But she did not want to give up with out a fight. But she realised, that the role of the dumb and unknowing blond girl would not help her any further. Joe seemed to know too much and obviously he intended to use that knowledge to his advantage. So she decided to change her strategy.

Her eye turned on Joe and she looked furiously at him, trying to show him that he stepped over a line. “What are you trying to imply, Joe? You better be careful not to make any assumptions about things you don’t fully know.” She let that sink in for a second before she continued to make her point. “But to make things clear. Mark and me have been friends since school and Kevin has been fully aware of that!”

Amy put every think on one card, and turned into bitch mode to stress her point. “Actually, I agreed to have a coffee with you, since I thought we were friends. But it sounds like you have a very bad image of me, Joe. I am and have always been faithful to my husband! And I would appreciate if you would not start any rumours with your false accusations.” The young mother looked hurt and her fury could be seen in her eyes when she finished her tirade. She pushed Joe’s card back to him. “And I definitely no interest in your friend!” She over emphasised that last word with a sneer in order to mimic Joe.

Joe Davis

Joe almost laughed as Amy went instantly from playing innocent to angry at his implications. She's pretty good, He admitted to himself, trying to contain his smile as he knew any sign of amusement would drive her on even more. He waited for her finish her tirade with the final gesture of pushing his card back towards him.

"Well done, Amy," Joe nodded his head, finally letting his amusement show as he gave her softly clapped his hands in applause for her performance. "You were quite convincing but you overlooked a couple of things," he told her leaning towards her and dropping his voice down to a harsh whisper, not wanting his voice to carry beyond their table. "I'm not assuming anything about your relationship with Mark, my dear. I know exactly what you two were doing every Tuesday and Thursday night while your husband was out of town. Mark was very graphic in his descriptions, Amy. Very graphic," Joe assured her, pushing his card back across the table towards her. "And while Kevin might know that you and Mark have been friends since high school, I somehow doubt that he knows and accepts that you two were fucking like a couple of teenagers every time he left town on business. Perhaps it is time that he found out a few interesting facts about your real relationships with Mark? What do you think, Amy, should I give ole Kevin a call when he gets back into town or are you going to be a bit friendlier towards me?" Joe asked coldly.

He gave her a couple of seconds to digest all that he had just told her before playing his final card, "Oh, and Mark also confided in me that he was worried about being a father. I never pictured him as a family man myself. Kevin seems a much better father figure than Mark but I do wonder exactly who little Marcus should call daddy," he mused cruelly, knowing he was exhuming all of the secrets that Amy wanted buried and forgotten. "Now, as long as you cooperate, Kevin doesn't have to know anything. I'm very good at keeping a secret... much better than Mark ever was, but the decision is yours, Amy," Joe announced as he stood up. "Be at my place at 8 tonight or your husband gets a very interesting phone call," he told her simply, pointing at his card as it lay on the table in front of her before turning and walking out of the coffee shop without giving her a chance to reply.

In the first moment Amy was shocked and speechless. Mark had betrayed her trust and had obviously told Joe something about their affair. He even had confined into his former roommate, that he has obviously thought that he might be the father of Marcus. Amy was boiling on the inside so furious was she at Mark and Joe. She wanted to scream the worst insults she knew at both of them, but Joe had already left the Starbucks and Mark had disappeared out of Amy’s life the day he learned that Amy was pregnant.

Slowly Amy’s temper decreased, but her hand were still shaking when she tried to pick up her coffee. The young mother and wife knew that she was in serious trouble. Joe could really stir up a lot of trouble, if he was serious about his threats. She doubted that Joe had any prove of her infidelity, but his accusations would make Amy’s life a lot more complicated. Even Amy had not definite knowledge about, who Marc’s biological father was, but his real father was Kevin. He loved the boy with all his heart and would do everything for him.

The card with Joe’s address and number was still sitting on the small table. Amy looked full of hate down at it. “If that pathetic fucker really thinks that he is going to get a piece of me, he must be totally deluded! Hell will freeze over before I get into that fucking idiots bed. Who does he think he is, to show up her and threaten me to let him fuck me!” Amy was getting more and more furious again. The took the card from the table and ripped it into pieces before she threw the little pieces into the cold rest of her coffee.

The young mother was still pissed off, when she finally got up from the table. She made her way back to her car in the parking lot. Her thoughts were on her family and that she might literally fucked up everything. She got into her car and the fragile side of her personality took over and tears started to run down her cheeks and dropped onto her shirt. She needed about 15 minutes, before the could regain control of herself. The young blond started the car and drove off to pick up Marc from the nursery.

Joe sipped at his beer as he kicked the refrigerator door closed. Walking into the living room he set the bottle down on the coffee table as he pulled his shirt off over his head. Tossing his uniform shirt aside, Joe threw himself down on the couch. Reaching for the beer, he turned on the television and mindlessly flicked through the channels as he decompressed from the day at work. It had not been a good day. Just about everything that could go wrong for him had, from customer complaints to hardware failures. "Shitty day," Joe commented dryly as he drank his beer. "Only good thing that happened today was seeing Amy," he noted with a smile, glancing at the clock.

It was 7:45, If she comes, only 15 more minutes, he thought to himself as he sipped at his beer, wondering if Amy would in fact show up. If not, I know where to find her, Joe smiled as he finished his beer. He had spent some time at work searching the internet for any information he could on Amy, finally managing to get her home address and phone number. He had even tracked down Kevin's telephone number at his job. And if everything else fails, I can always catch up to her at the gym, Joe assured himself as he got up off the couch, moving back towards the kitchen for another drink.

A few miles away Amy sat in the living room of her comfortable home. She had put Marc to bed about an hour ago and he had fallen asleep without any problems. Amy knew that she would have a much harder time to sleep tonight. The clock was slowly approaching 8:00 pm, and Amy felt like every second that passed was adding to her nervousness. She had known that seeing Joe again, had been a bad thing, but it had turned out much more problematic than she had every expected. Joe knew about her affair with Mark and how they had fucked like teenager for about a year behind her husband‘s back. He even suspected correctly that Marcus might not be Kevin‘s son, but the result of her infidelity with Mark. Every day when Amy looked into he face of her little angle she saw Mark in him and not Kevin.

The young wife feared that her pleasant life might be at the turning point. She knew that when Joe’s accusations became public, she would be a disgrace of the Sanderson family. Her mother-in-law had always seen Amy as a bad match for her son and she would make Amy’s life a living hell. But it was not only herself that Amy worried about, she knew that she would never be able to give Marcus the perfect childhood, she had envisioned for him, as a single mom. Amy knew that she would be known as a cheating slut in the neighbourhood, and she would have to move away, if all of her wrong doing would become public.

Amy, knew she had to do something, but what? Joe was not the kind of guy, who was giving a damn about what happened with Amy and her family, so she guessed that begging him to keep the secret would not be a successful plan. She swallowed hard, when she heard the grand-father clock in the next room ringing eight times. Amy knew that Joe would be furious that she had not shown up at his place, but she had not been able to give in to his demands, yet. Actually she had been thinking about going over to his place, but she had not done so for three reasons. Firstly, she did not want to give herself to that fucking asshole, especially when she did not know what kind of prove he might have. Secondly, she had not his address, since she had ripped up his card. An thirdly, hell wasn’t frozen yet.

Joe glanced at the clock again as he raised the lat bar over his head, his breath coming in short hard gasps as he worked his way through his exercise routine. He was feeling better as he sweated out all the alcohol he had ingested last night. Waking up with a slight headache and a weak stomach, Joe knew he had over indulged but after half an hour of hard exercise he was feeling much better.

Joe had waited for Amy all night, sitting on his couch drinking beer as he waited for the attractive young mother. He had finally fallen asleep on the couch sometime after midnight after a few too many beers.

Wonder if Amy is going to be working out today, Joe wondered to himself as he continued to push the heavy bar up over his head, feeling the muscles in his shoulders and chest straining. She was here about this time yesterday, Joe noted as he glanced at the clock once more, maybe she doesn't come every day. I'll call her later, he decided as he finished the last set on the Lat machine, leaning forward as he wiped the sweat off his forehead, or I could just stop by her house. He added with a smile, enjoying the fact that he knew where she lived now. Maybe after work today, I'll stop by her place for a drink.

After a bad night of sleep Amy awoke the next morning. She had been thinking all night long what she could do to solve her problem. She even had considered to call her husband and to tell him everything that has happened, but then she thought about her life, her son, and her family. She did not want to endanger any of those things, so she decided to keep her secret to herself and to find a way to deal with Joe.

Amy went to the shower and got ready for her usual morning routine. She would get Marcus after her shower and feed him, clean him up, and dress him before she brought him to the nursery. Usually she would go to the gym to work out after she had dropped off Marcus, but today she unsure about what to do. She was afraid of having to face her former lover’s ex roommate at the gym, because she was sure that Joe would try again to force her to sleep with him. “What am i going to do?”, was the question that occupied the young mother all morning while she got trough the usual routine.

Right on time, Amy arrived at the nursery and handed Marcus and his stuff over to one of the girls working that place. She walked back to her car, she was dressed in her work out outfit and was ready to hit the gym, but she was mentally not prepared at all. Amy was a very predictable person, she nearly never changed her daily routines and that made people notice when something was not as usual. In the end she could not think off about anything else to do and she decided to go to the gym, not showing up there might make people curious and she would have to face Joe sooner or later anyway.

She arrived at the gym saw Joe’s car in the parking lot, her heart was beating fast and she felt like she was going to be sick. But Amy got out and walked into the building. She spotted Joe right way at the Lat machine, so she tried to stay out of his view and got on a treadmill in the cardio training room, hoping that he might not see her.

Joe finished up his workout, his mind made up to pay a visit to the Sanderson household after work, smiling as he imagined the look of shock on Amy's face when he appeared on her doorstep. I'd like to see her avoid me then, Joe thought was a soft chuckle as he finished the last of his routine, wiping the sweat from the back of his neck as he stood up.

Maybe I'll even get to see Mark's son,Joe thought as he wiped down the machine, grabbing his towel as he moved towards the locker room. As he was passing the cardio room, he glanced in as he always did, admiring the few spandex clad asses of the women as they ran on the treadmills. I know that ass, Joe thought with a smile as he noticed Amy at the end of the row of machines. Smiling to himself, Joe sauntered into the cardio room, moving up behind the young mother as she jogged on the treadmill. Glancing around at the few other women in the room, Joe noticed that they were all engrossed in their own workouts, all of them with earphones on as they ran.

"Hello, Amy," Joe said, his hand reaching out to pat her spandex clad butt, "I missed you last night."

Amy was started when she felt someone touching her on her ass. She turned and look angrily at the culprit. She hated it when guys thought that they were free to feel her small and perfectly shaped butt up, just because she liked to show it off proudly. But when she heard Joe’s voice she felt like her blood was freezing and a shiver ran over her body. Amy looked disgusted at the man in front of her and snarled at him. “Hi, Joe, did you really expect me to follow your stupid demands? And get your fucking hand off my butt!” She was stressing her words while she spoke but was speaking quietly enough so that none of the other people in the room could hear her.

She slowed down the treadmill so that she could talk to Joe, since he did not look like he was going to give up easy. When the machine stopped she turned to him fully, since she was not very tall her eyes were about level although she was still standing on the treadmill. “Ok, what do you want? This whole thing has already gone way to far, so here is the truth. There has never been anything between me and Mark, I don‘t know how you or Mark even got that idea. It is right that Mark wanted to get between my legs, but I was already married to Kevin and so he never got his wish! Maybe he just wanted to show off when she told you that bullshit that you told me yesterday. So please, Joe, back off and leave me and my family alone!” The young mother tried to look as confident as possible as she tried to throw Joe of her track.

Joe smiled, his fingers squeezing the soft flesh of Amy's ass as she turned to glare at him. "Nice ass, Amy," he complimented her, ignoring her snarled demand that he move his hand. "What demands? I simply invited you over to my place," he assured her with a condescending smile, his hand sliding around to her hip as she stopped the treadmill. "If you inferred anything from that, it's not my fault."

Joe let out a loud laugh as Amy once again denied her affair with Mark, his outburst causing a couple of the other women in the room to glance towards them. "You can keep on trying to convince me of that, Amy, but I'm not going to ever believe it. It's one thing to brag that you've fucked someone else's wife... it's another to be panicked that you might have gotten her pregnant. Of course, if nothing happened between you and Mark then you won't object if I called Kevin. He might get a laugh out of this rumor," Joe shrugged, "he might find it funnier if your son looked like him, though."

"Well, Amy, I've got to get to work now," Joe informed her, leaning closer to her, his hand sliding down to give her ass one last squeeze. "I'll see you tonight," he assured her, smiling as he noticed one of the other women staring at his hand as it rested on the young mother's butt. "Have a good day," Joe chuckled, giving her ass a gentle swat as he turned and headed towards the locker room.

“Excuse me? Do you think that I am not seeing what you are demanding from me? I might not be the brightest girl around, but I am not stupid!” Amy was furious because Joe was objectifying her and seeing the stupid little blond girl in her, like all the other guys that saw her as an easy catch. That was one of the thinks the loved so much about her husband, Kevin had always loved Amy for her character and her personality, and she did not want to hurt him by having Joe making a fuss about her being an adulteress.

Over the last year, the young mother had told herself so often that Marc was Kevin‘s and her son, so that she had accepted it as a fact. A fragile set of lies were set up around Amy’s pleasant and comfortable life, but Joe was now threatening to push the careful setup out of it’s balance. Amy was shocked when she felt the other women’s eyes on her and Joe, who was still squeezing her ass openly to be seen by everyone. And he did not care to speak quiet enough to cover up the topic of their conversation. The young mother blushed and tried to find a good answer to Joe’s accusation, but she had a hard time to come up with something, since she realise that he knew the painful truth.

“NO, Joe, please... you don’t need to trouble Kevin with this nonsense. He is very busy at the moment ... and ... and... ” She could not find a reason that might keep Joe away from Kevin. She realised that she was in a very bad position and wanted Joe to leave the gym before anyone else might notice their conversation. When Joe finally took his hand from her well formed butt and left, Amy felt relieved and tense at the same time. “What shall I do? And why does he think he is seeing me tonight? I am surely not going over to his place!” However, she was far less sure about that than the night before.

After her workout Amy took a shower and got her son from the nursery. She tried to get through the day like nothing had happened, but she felt sick when she stated to think about the night and Joe cryptic threat to see her tonight.

Joe smiled as he thought of Amy's stammered excuses, the panicked look in her eye as she tried to come up with a valid reason for him not to talk to Kevin. She knows the baby isn't his, Joe assured himself as he showered, and doesn't want him to find out. And I'm betting she'll do just about anything to prevent him from knowing.

As he left the locker room after his shower, Joe caught Amy's eye, waving at her with a smile before leaving the gym. He noticed at least two other women glancing between Amy and himself, suspicious looks on their faces. Now, she's got to worry about the gossip as well, Joe laughed inwardly, knowing that one of the women was the one who had noticed him groping Amy's ass. Probably a rumor about us going around the gym now.

Walking through the parking lot, Joe paused at Amy's car. Taking one of his cards from his wallet, he wrote "7:30, tonight" on the back before sliding it under her windshield wiper. "Let's see if she'll come now," Joe mused to himself as he continued on to his car.

The day seemed to drag by for Joe, his attention completely focused on what the evening might bring as he went through the motions of his job. He was eager to get home and prepare, so eager in fact that he left work an hour early, stopping at a couple of stores to pick up a few things before finally arriving home. "7:20," Joe muttered, glancing at the clock as he finished his preparations, "if she comes. "

Amy had felt the eyes of the other women on her when she had left the gym, she was sure that they had started talking about her and Joe as soon as the door was closed behind her. She was angry at Joe for not being more discreet and that he had openly squeezed her butt. Amy knew that it would only take only a few more suspicious observations and soon half of the neighbourhood would cook up rumours about her and Joe. The young wife was not afraid of talk about her and Joe, because Kevin would never believe that, but it was always dangerous when people talked and tried to interpret past observations in a new light.

Amy’s first impulse had been to destroy Joe’s card, that she had found at her car, but in the end she had taken the card and put it the pocket of her pants. Joe had been pretty upset about her not showing up the night before, Amy thought that it was time for a new strategy, since she was by now afraid that Joe might really be able to hurt her and her family with his behaviour. Thus she decided to try to talk to him and smooth things over when she visited him that night.

The babysitter for Marc, a teenage girl named Nicki, showed up on time and Amy was able to leave the house shortly after 7 pm. She had told her and her husband that she was having a meeting with a client. Amy had been working as an interior decorator before she had become pregnant and now she was slowly trying to get back into business. Amy had a bad feeling about her meeting with Joe, but she did not see a better way to talk with him in private and to get him to back off.

Her heart was beating strongly and her fingers were shaking a bit when she was knocking at Joe’s door at 5 minutes after 7:30 pm. She was dressed in a business dress, since she wanted her look to match to her story. She was wearing a grey skirt, a white tight blouse, and a matching grey blazer. Her legs were covered by dark sheer nylons and her feet were in come black high heels. Amy would have preferred to look less styled for the meeting with Joe, but in the end she had accepted that she could not be both at the same time. She sighted when she heart someone move on the other side of the door.

Joe glanced at the clock, shaking his head in resignation. "She's not coming," he muttered to himself as he stirred the pot of sauce. He had decided to make a simple pasta meal for dinner, the rest of the meal already on the table, he was just waiting for the sauce to finish up. "Guess I'll go see her after dinner," he shrugged, wondering how she would react when he showed up unannounced at her house. "Bet that would get the neighbors talking," Joe shrugged as he imagined the gossip that would spread through the small neighborhood if someone saw his car parked there while Kevin was out of town. "Maybe that would get her attention," he laughed, tasting the sauce one last time. "Perfect," he announced, the habit of talking to himself developing from years of living alone, as he carried the hot pot to the table. He was just about to pour himself a glass of wine when he heard a soft, almost hesitant knock at the door.

"Really?" He wondered, glancing up at the clock, "7:35, maybe she got smart." Putting the wine down on the table, Joe moved towards the door. Stopping just outside the kitchen, Joe paused, bending over his laptop as he clicked a few buttons, checking to make sure the numerous mini cameras he had purchased that afternoon were all online. "Let's see her deny anything now," he muttered to himself as he closed the computer up.

"Amy?! How good to see you," Joe greeted her warmly as he opened the door, seeing the fear and reluctance in the young mother's face as he stepped towards her, embracing her in a sudden hug. "I was afraid you weren't coming," he told her, guiding her into the house with a gentle hand in the small of her back. "You look very nice," he complimented her as he swung the door shut behind them, "I don't think I've ever seen you in a skirt before." Nice legs, he thought to himself as his eyes ran over her body, admiring the way the business suit seemed to highlight her body. "I was just going to have some dinner, if you'd care to join me," Joe offered, steering her towards the kitchen, knowing that the cameras were recording what would appear to an outsider as a date.

The beautiful wife felt nervous when she stepped into Joe’s place. It looked pretty much like she had expected. The rooms were furnished scarcely and there was nearly no decoration that would make someone feel at home. Additionally it was obvious that the clean hand of a woman was missing since the dust was gathering in the corners and on the little furniture. Amy was surprised by Joe’s hug and before she could really react Joe was steering her into his kitchen, which looked not much better than the rest of the apartment.

“Thanks.” Amy was surprised that Joe noticed her dress, she liked to dress up and she liked it even more when she was complimented for it. “But don‘t think that I dressed up for you, I had an appointment earlier.” Amy was about to decline Joe’s offer to have some dinner, but she had to admit that it was smelling good and she thought, “Maybe he is doing a better job cooking than he is keeping this place clean.” She did not want to appear hostile toward Joe, thus she accepted his offer after a short moment of silence. “Yes, that would be nice, I did not have a lot to eat today. I hope that is ok.”

They walked over to the table and Joe got another plate and a glass for Amy. After both of them were seated and had their dinner in front of them, Amy tried to steer the conversation to the reason of her visit. “Thanks for the dinner, Joe, but I guess you did not want me to come over here for eating pasta. And honestly I did not want to come over here in the first place, but your scene at the gym today did not give me a lot of choice.” She stopped for a short moment and tried to read Joe’s expression before the continued. “I really would prefer if you would not try to fuck up my life, and acting like you did in the gym today will start talk and you know how this town is, most people prefer to believe in rumours than in facts.”

Joe smiled at Amy as she took her seat, his eyes admiring her legs as she demurely crossed them, her grey skirt hiking up to show a little more of her thigh as she sat down. "Please, I made more than enough for two," he assured her as he served her, pouring her a glass of wine before sliding into his own seat.

Joe nodded as Amy explained how she hadn't wanted to come but his behavior in the gym had forced her to come over. "Amy, I'm not looking to fuck up your life," he assured her. "In fact I hope your life only gets better," he said as he sipped his wine, "but people do talk in this town and rumors are nasty things. They have a life of their own once they get started," Joe mused as he ate, watching Amy carefully as she sipped at her own glass of wine. "And rumors can really destroy someone's life if they're not careful. A rumor of an affair or a child fathered by another man, could really fuck up an otherwise perfect life," Joe noted almost philosophically, "no matter what the facts really are."

"Now, while one or two people may know the true facts," Joe continued, waving his finger across the table to indicate the two of them, "for everyone else, it would be just rumors, and very damaging rumors at that. Now, my behavior at the gym today was inexcusable, and I am sorry for that, Amy," Joe admitted with a smile that proved his words a lie, "but what I really want to know is what you are willing to do to stop the spread of any damaging rumors. How far are you willing to go to protect your life, Amy? What would you do to keep Kevin from hearing some of these rumors?"
