Jake Miller 28 years old
6’2 210 pounds
Light Brown hair and Blue eyes

Jake had worked very hard to obtain this job that was surely going to lead to great career. He was out in the workforce for a good six years before he got the break. He was close to having doubts about the power of a college education before he landed it finally.

Over the last year, he bonded pretty well with most of his co-workers in his section. He worked closely with a few on special projects and presentations. He was quite content as he finally was making decent money and with his girlfriend living with him, they were able to make ends meet. He enjoyed his job and felt the challenge was great. He even thought about becoming a supervisor or maybe even a manager down the road of course.

All seemed to be going good the last year outside of the last 2 months. He was having a few arguments with his girlfriend. Finances were still tight but they were making it as long as they tightened the belt on things. He occasionally had to work late was another issue.

He went on to work and felt something just wasn’t right at home. He wanted to confide in his friend at work.
“Hey, hows it going.” He said as he walked over to her cubicle.

Eva Suarez
27 y.o.
5'4", 126 lbs
petite and curvy
34 C breasts, trim waist, generous hips
tan skin, hazel eyes, black hair, usually worn straight down her back, held back in a ponytail at the nape of her neck

Eva looked up as she saw Jake approach, and smiled lightly.

"Hey yourself. What's up?" She asked as she turned from the report she was typing and fixed him with her attention. She liked Jake. He was sweet, hard-working, and he could carry on a conversation better than half the neanderthals his age. It really was too bad he was taken, but it was just as well. She had only broken up with her boyfriend of two years a few months prior, and though the relationship had been over for much longer than that, it was still an adjustment to living on her own again after she threw him and his stuff out of her place.

She had been working on the report for a project when Jake approached and was glad for the reprieve.

He looked at her smile as he approached.
"Hey yourself. What's up?" She asked as she turned from what she was doing.

“Oh just getting my report proofread before I turn it in to the boss. I’ll get to work on a power point after that.” He said with a smile.

He paused and finally pulled up a chair to talk to Eva.
“You know I have been with my girlfriend, Kirsten for almost 3 years, right?” He said with a sigh.

“I think it is time to pop the question but…the last year and half we have to put it mildly had a lot of arguments mostly petty stuff. The threat to break up was on both of our sides. I hate to burden you but I was wondering what you think. I mean my buddies are a little too crasp in saying dump the bitch…there is a reason they are single. I know relationships are a two way street. I have to have patience and tolerance.” He states and pauses.

“I guess this about soul searching before I take the leap to get engaged.” He adds.

Eva is someone he both respected and liked a lot. If he was single...he may hav emore than a friendship in her. She certainly has many qualities he likes. Still, he has been with his girlfriend for 3 years better or worse. He was confused what to do.

Eva gave him a thoughtful look, and tilted her head. "Well, I'm the last person to be giving relationship advice, Jake. I caught my ex cheating on me with his ex, so I'm probably not the one to ask. However, I'm more than willing to listen to you about your problems with Kristen." She'd probably tell him to dump the bitch, too, but for her it would be because she'd get a chance at him, but that wouldn't be fair to their friendship, and she respected Jake a great deal.
