*grin* a very good turnout... more people than i had expected... im glad though... as for the abundance of vampires, i guess thats probably best anyway... as far as i can tell, from reading various WW books, that vampires are the most common supernatural creature around... although still not common in relation to the sleepers...

just to let you know, ill be using this thread to intruduce new information to the world from time to time, so keep checking back here...

The Third Eye

(ok folks, this is the vehicle ill be using to introduce most of the new info about the thread. The Third Eye is a web newsgroup that specializes in the supernatural, but unlike most of them, its information is usually totally accurate. Little is known about the author, only that they write under the monniker Nemesis. Whenever i post something under the heading of The Third Eye, it is assumed that all of the characters know this information, either through reading this newsletter, or through other sources your character has.)

New Nightclub Opens

A new nightclub has opened in the Chicago area, named the Oracle. Why am i mentioning this when this newsletter usually deals with vampire sightings and supernatural occurances? Well, for one thing, the owner is very new to the area, and little is known about him, except that he is a collector of items that have significant magical backgrounds. The other reason is, that this place is awesome! There is live music, the ambiance is awesome, and there are private booths you can share with someone... special. All and all, definately worth checking out.

Hi I just wanted to post a hopefully brief description of my character here before posting anything else..
Sonja Steele
She stands about 5'7", weighs about 130 pounds, her hair is long, falling down past her hips and is a deep grey, and yes oddly enough it is a natural color, as her hair is brushed out of her eyes it reveals eyes of a very clear blue. She is a single mortal female of age 24, who at this time has very little belief in the unnatural, holding to a belief of "I'll believe it when I see it." As she walks into the room her blue eyes survey her surroundings. She is dressed in a tight black shirt that is pulled down slightly baring her shoulders, she also wears black jeans that accent her long legs, each step she takes is accented by the click of her high heels on the floor... She has just recently moved to the Chicago area from Los Angeles, where she left her job there as an Interior Decorator, looking for a change of scenery.

Also, your characters should probably have some powers! Otherwise... you're gonna get eaten up!

Playing a sleeper probably isn't a good idea... but it WOULD be interesting...

I hope anything I do with my magic isn't TOO out of line with Vampire rules, El... forgive me if things I do shouldn't actually be possible...

I'm not so sure about that shield thing but I think theoretically it might be able to work... since he was, like, reading her aura and stuff... so she'd block it with other auras of spirits...

Well, maybe... ^_^
