It's not a "game" at all! It is war. A very serious and most unique one. One in which we primarily rely on intelligence agencies to tell us where the enemies are and when they are likely to strike.
On those other occasions where the enemy engages in direct military action we can oppose it with conventional military forces.
The point is, that the Jihadists declared war on us. It seems to me that it is incumbent upon them to let us know when they desire peace. I have no doubt that if and when that time comes they will find us most receptive to the idea. But I see no reason (based primarily on what they continue to tell us) to presume that we can affect such a peace simply by ignoring their barbarous acts and schemes.
