Thanks for the response, Carson. Tell Miss S that I hope her family issues get resolved in the way she would like most.

Hey, thanks Eff and Carson. I'll be checking in occasionally until things are back to "normal" here. I've had a house full of company and relationship issues to work out. Hopefully soon I'll be back to posting on Lit on a regular basis. If anyone wants to contact me, send anonymous feedback through email, as I am unable to answer any pm's at this time. I'll be down, I'll be around.

Scarlett, dear, I hope that all is well. I have been unable to make biscuits - Continental Airlines appears to have some sort of pen-pushing, beaurocratic rule about cooking in economy class - but am very keen to try them. All of the best -

Glad to hear it's only temporary.

BTW, the macaroni has gone full circle, back to the original subject of the thread. After the savoury, I had some left over, so, as I love milk puds, I tweaked your special (no cheese, sugar, more milk, but otherwise as for the m-cheese). I loved it, but they didn't (despite being enthusiatic about the cheese version).

So Macaroni Pud is now officially on the "I love it, they don't" list...

:(
