Would you sleep with a married person?

Agree, what was "everything else leading up to" that you were fine with?
 
I recently posted that I would probably not sleep with a married man but stuff happens and I recently broke that rule. At my age, I should know better than to make rules.

I think it can work - if all parties know and agree. For a couple of years, I was fucking a married woman while her husband was fucking my wife. That worked out pretty well. And, occasionally, the four of us would all get together for dinner. :)
 
My fwb and I are both married but we've been friends a long time. Both of us are in sexless (or close to it) marriages. Would we have sex with someone else outside of marriage? Probably not. But with each other, it is safe. It's a lot of fun. We trust each other. It is easy.
 
In general, I don't think there is anything wrong with a married person getting something a little different now and then. So I would not be adverse to having sex with a married person but would be cautious of interfering in a relationship or getting involved in high drama.
 
I haven't. I repeatedly fantasized about my married professor for years, but I never actually tried to make a move on him or had any romantic or sexual contact with him. I just intuitively knew that having a one time fling with him was never going to make me happy. I wanted to be WITH him. I wanted him to marry me instead and be with me. However, I know how married men operate. If a married man cheats, he either wants extra sexual physical fun or extra romantic fun. A married man, no matter how much he lies to the Other Woman or the Other Man, is not going to leave his married spouse for you. The only married guy I might have sex with is Jeremy Irons. That's because rumor has it, he and his wife are in an open marriage. So yeah.
 
I would never sleep with someone who was married...but I should say with one exception: if they were separated I would.

Yeah, it would be best to wait until after the divorce was final, but that can take a year. At that point it just becomes trusting them that their marriage is done heart-wise between them, but maybe not via court.

Here it takes a year to get divorced.
