I'm not the one posting under two different names on the same thread, sock puppet harpy. That really doesn't make you look so good. (despite what you may believe)

And yes, Lazaran did provide a bit of tidbits of wisdom as usual. While I believe Trump was correct in that the ejection of Balogum was over the top, unnecessary, and just a plain outright bad call, I also believe he was wrong to try throwing an international tantrum, throwing his weight around trying to get it overturned. I think the U.S. squandered what little good will they had left with that maneuver.

One big issue with U.S. soccer is that while it is a huge popular youth sport, it isn't as lucrative as a professional sport compared to many other countries. Kids play soccer, get shuttled around in their minivans, Fords Explorers, and Chevy Suburbans by soccer moms, and attend soccer practice with the same regularity as spring little league. But if they are good enough, usually by the time they are in high school or college, they give it up and switch sports.
