Yeah. Crap. I'm out of sync. Honestly, I *usually* have this all in my head...but since I haven't been zeroed in...I have to get back into the thread and the mindset....and basically REMEMBER what all was going on. Post wise. Story wise. Drama wise.

But I wasn't sure if you were coming back, so my brain automatically backburnered this until I had time to spare from more urgent quarters. Now that things are briefly quieter, I took that chance and put out feelers as I brainstormed.

I could have Wolverine heal some. He did regenerate pretty fast when he was vaporized by that nuclear bomb.

I assure you...all.....today I'm taking the time to review the roleplay and get back into the mindset. And see who needs my most immediate focus. Whether it be the Russian front, or World Trade Center drama.......someone(s), somewhere -- attention need be paid, dammit!

So about my Kitty post. Specifically the:

Part. Someone is NOT saying that over and over again. It was said once. Right when the two of your characters -- Kurt and Sam -- got onto the scene. She's just....replaying it over and over in her head. And I was trying to illustrate that. To build the emotional drama.

Just wanted to clarify....

(I would also like to *tribute* some of the 'past dialogue' to the exchange that "Remec" and "SortOfBeautiful" shared in past posts with Sam and Kitty!)

Lastly, I started Laura/X-23 but....I won't be able to finish. At least not right now. I'm sorry for that. I'm not sure when I will be able to. But she will be my next priority -- sorry Miss "ChasNicolette" for holding your post up even more!

Got a late start on my writing for today. Finished about half of what I wanted to -- including an 'interlude' -- but it looks like I'll have to push it, until the next time. It's for "KattDclaw's" and "HotCider's" characters' in Russia. So at the latest, I'll finish up and post that next Monday....unless I have time before then.

After that, my attention will be fixated on a link-up post with the Gambit + Rogue/Storm scenario!

Would Kurt have encountered any of these in his life, or would he be blown away by the concept of a pretty little girl sprouting claws like cantankerous ol' Logan?

It's a brand new -- no; A Bright New World, sans the title here. So I'm imagining a lot of the history and continuity has not come to pass as of yet. Since mutants have not really come out into the LIGHT of day, many of the interactions are not present...at this moment.

So I'm leaning toward a probable no. This IS between your character and Miss "AnyOtherName's" -- whom I'm happily 'sitting' for -- but because this is really the first time that the Xavier team has been out on the field...not to mention, the first possible interaction with some of a potential 'rival' team in Emma's -- I don't see THESE particular two having crossed paths before. (I know you weren't asking that). More to it, in the time that your character might have been in Europe -- and perhaps aside from his companionship with Logan -- I cannot imagine a chance meeting with another...whose powers or appearance/abilities might be feline/feral like...

(The similarity of his discovery upon seeing this pretty girl with claws much like that of his team mate back home...will be lost on both lasses before him of course!)
