Awesome! I noticed that this contest ends before the election, so I assume they are hoping to squeeze it in before prop 8 potentially passes. There's a lot of news in the gay press about how close prop 8 is to passing...so hopefully I can get married before that! (Otherwise there's always Massachusetts.)

Voted and am telling all to vote no on prop 8.

I doubt it will pass, the ads are just so ridiculously stupid.

I am crossing my fingers it doesn't pass but I have heard the same thing as you Etoile - the polls are showing otherwise.

YC you are right those adds really are ridiculous but that one with Gavin Newsome is horrendous and I can see why it is working - they did find the most obnoxious sound clip. To bad people are so easily persuaded by 2 second commercials...
