I'll take the blame if that means someone will spank me. ;)

I do plan on finishing the task, and could possibly become a regular also.

Well you have wondered what Mr Crop feels like
bring your ass up here

No, still huge. We've about decided to get me a couple of 'wifebeater' shirts and a case of beer to haul around in the truck with me, so i'll fit in with the good ol' boys around here. It looks like i've got a big beer belly. *laughs*

Good for You! If You do die before it comes through, can i drag You back and give You a tongue-lashing? Knowing them, it's going to be another 10 or 12 years before all the paperwork and whatnot goes through.

As for the afterward... well... wouldn't it be better not to think of that until it actually happens?

You may give me a tongue-lashing any time :)

I should have the back pay in about 30 days

I think I understand about not thinking about after
but this claim is the only motivation I have had for sometime
even with R around it was the leaving it to her and S \that often keep me from not just alying down and giving up the goast

Now the thought of spanking that 25 year olf ass of yours
could be a motivator :)

Actually I will be in Michigan in the middle of May, but only for an overnighter.

Just imagining what that crop would feel like is warming me up.

The closest i can get to that tongue-lashing right now would be something akin to... :p :p :p :p :p and that just doesn't do it.

30 days is not too long to wait. Then You'll have plenty of time to figure out something else You can do. Even if it is something small. i remember Grandpa collecting as many different recordings of one classical composer at a time and listening to them for hours on end. It gave him something to do to pick them apart and write personal reviews for his own reference.

Besides, You've got to have something to do until my poor little self heals enough to travel that far.

Is it just me, or does anybody else think of MASH reruns whenever somebody says something about a swamp?

Azalea I asked you a question above that you did not answer.

Tim glad to see you back

I may have gotten some good news
I say may cause when it comes to VA
I do not believe squat

I got a call this morning from VA saying my disablity claim
has been approved at 100%. If this is true it brings to a close a 11 year battle.

I have told them I will not die till I win this claim.

Much of what I will win when this goes through will be benifits
for my wife/widow and minor children ...... since I have niether....
oh well ..........

This is wonderful news Richard!! I do hope they are true to their word.

BTW, even though I don't post on this board a lot, I do read every day. Thank you for the meaningful threads you have been starting lately.:rose:

Excellent! Now you can get on with living. Dying is so...so..so terminal.

You can dream again. I know what it is like to have that yoke of concern removed. Once upon a time my husband was in a near-fatal head-on with a drunk, he was out of work, I was laid off, and it took almost six years to get through the courts and even have the ins companies pay one bill! It was awful. Nearly lost the house, no car, no food, no heat...ganishments when he did go back, but because he amde too much income (nevermind the courts all got it before we saw it) we did not qualify for any assistance.

Eventually, Universe balaances it all out. Congratulations. You must be so relieved.

The relief from this will come when I get the check

I want to call R and tell her
but will not .....

It will 3-9 weeks bewfore I see back money
and the increase in my monthly check

back pay will be about a $1000 per month since Nov 2000
Monthly check will be $2400 per month with pluses
like travel ......

By no means does this resolve all my problems/obsticals
things like patent representive/advocate
oh hell
to many to list

Richard ~ I think it is one step in the right direction. One less stress you have to deal with. I know you have so many others. I will always think of you and keep you in my prayers. :rose:

no, when I hear the word "swampy" I think of excitement-soaked panties and leaving love puddles wherever I sit...

There has been almost 100% denial for similar claims
So I hope my win will help others

and orginally that is why I hung in there
was for other veterans

but then they pissed me off

Anyway... this is not over till I have check in hand

then ... well ... then the battle is over
