"You made the Earth move"
"No, silly, that was an earthquake."

I thought it might make a cute opening couplet. The couple- likely new to each other- laying on the bed/floor/couch catching their breath after a shared pair of climaxes. maybe one is new to earthquake zones.

But I have no idea where it goes- my reaction to my own idea is "So what?".

Just thought I might toss it out here for a bit to see if anybody had any good thoughts before I assign it to the Plot Bunny Pens.

Their sex was so good and intense that the Earth is now drifting away from/toward the sun, and they have to try to figure out how to fuck in the opposite direction to stabilize its orbit, which of course takes a number of attempts, some of which make it worse, or they overcorrect, trying different positions, partners, anything in a desperate attempt to save humankind.

To push something in the right direction, you need thrust. Powerful thrust and lots of it. That's all Ima sayin'. I'm sure we have some talented thrusters here.

Why you laffin, Sir Hugs? How do you think aircraft move through the air except by THRUST? If there was more THRUSTING there would be fewer wars. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
the alliterative "talented thrusters" tickled my funny bone. Yeah, weird brain, mine.

and don't airplanes need LIFT as well as THRUST? how do you fit that into your analogy?

In this case, the Earth is already lifted into space and generally spins so lift has been dealt with. THRUST is what is needed. A bit of alliteration is a help sometimes. And it is aeroplane not airplane.

Hmmm…

They say the line and then the tremor comes back and they panic and jump under the sturdiest thing they can find but they wind up in a sexual position so they decide to ride out the earthquake.

Course someone else in the house is also hiding out in there and watches them go at it, or was hiding under whatever they’re hiding under and winds up getting involved

How would you work in the line "Once you go earthquake you never go back"
- as the part at the end?
-to open a sequel, where they are explaining to smeone why they remain great fiends, even a coule, but no longer fuck(each other)?
-some other way?
-is it just a dumb idea that proves once again that I need more sleep?

You know how there are storm chasers that chase tornadoes? Well how about quake chasers? They study seismic charts and maps, and travel to where they think the tremors will be the strongest, just so they can fuck on the tectonic plates and get that extra zing in their lovin' action.

They would just need to do the exact same thing the second time, only twelve hours later.
