in christian terms Hedonism is kind of the ultimate sin. it implies living entirely for earthly pleasure. Needless to say, that doesnt fit well in a christian worldview. Not that im saying your a christian but im using christianity as an example.

I don't see the problem with that. At the end of the day there's no conclusive evidence whether there's an afterlife or not, so what's so bad with making the most of earthly pleasures while you're still breathing?
