My characters are baby birds. Once out of the nest, they’re on their own.

Similar, until they land on a nearby branch, and demand another story. My characters are baby birds. Once out of the nest, they’re on their own.
My characters do the same thing. In this case, I think they are my therapist.Characters, for me, definitely take on a life of their own.
I am writing a fourth "Confession" story because the characters seem to have gotten away from me and get down right nasty about being allowed to express themselves.
My characters always start with a story, but the more I invest in the character, the more power they wield to shape the stories.
I should probably talk to my therapist about this.
I thought the one werewolf switching butts from the girl to her boyfriend was hilarious. Glad to know that was in character.I've actually imagined the next morning of Lunacy on Set. And once Chris finds out what all happened the night before, he won't be too happy about it. There will be rolled up newspapers involved, and him asking Brittany if she wants to put her boyfriend through obedience classes. And promises that Jacob will be going through behavioral training, which is Chris' sister, a werebear.
Nothing that I've written has ever been anything that was really out of character for the characters though. Just sometimes, something, they might be upset about later.
I honestly think not. Some of my characters do kinda extreme things, but they do them because of who they are. I don’t think I’ve ever pushed them to be sowmthijg they are not.Do you ever feel like you've taken a character for a walk outside of what they would do themselves?
