1 year. This was also my first ever sexual relationship & unfortuntely was the one that made me put it out of my mind as 'not being normal' for ten years. At least, the opinions of others did. It was extremely frowned upon that I had a relationship with this guy as a) He was bi-sexual & b) I was slightly under age when it started, he was four years older.

However, I should point out that I didn't need any coaching, like he stated I may have been a virgin but I had all the ideas in my head & knew exactly what I wanted (we had a pretty much switch relationship).
So when it fell apart I went to having straight sex for ten years. I suppose I took everyone else's comments on board that it 'wasn't normal, he must've influenced me, etc etc.'

Then I met another guy who was Dominant, but again, not a very healthy relationship, I just stuck with it for 6 months or so because I was getting some of what I needed. That was ten years ago again (jeez, I'm getting old). I tried to coax my husband down this path but he wasn't having any of it, we split up a year ago. Since then I've been looking for a BDSM orientated relationship as opposed to settling again. I have a weekend with a switch planned, who I have been chatting to for a few months & maybe it will work out, maybe it wont, but at 36 years old I now know my instincts WERE right at 16.
