I have not seen that! I liked the book, but I kinda felt like The Personal History of David Copperfield movie with Dev Patel was everything I wished Of Human Bondage was. Both about orphaned boys trying to find their place in the world, but tPHoDC movie had more pronounced moments of optimism and whimsy to break up the oppression. The version of David Copperfield with a very young Daniel Radcliffe had much less wonder and levity. I’m almost afraid to read the original Dickens because I’m afraid it won’t live up to the Dev Patel movie
