The good gent refers to Ireland's momumental near-miss against the All Blacks last weekend. Never having beaten them, ever, the scores were 19-19 and with 6 mins to go NZ had a man sin-binned so history was waiting to be made. Unfortunately, we missed a penalty, had a couple of dodgy decisions from the ref go against us and the home side scored with seconds remaining - final score 22-19. (things that make you say Fuck thread contender)

On top of that of course then we had G-Mac missing out on the US Open by one shot

Anyway,now you're updated on sporting events, how's things?? :D

MW - good to see you dude - how goes the beer?? :cool:

It goes 'mate. Dodgy calls indeed, but that game was there for the taking. Ireland's half back combo is one of the best I've seen. Too bad they had to move Johnny Sexton out to make room for Ronan O'Gara.

Still swilling the locally brewed IPAs, keeps a man fit and trim. :D

Whooops - seems my fears about the All Blacks were well founded and the beer idea didn't seem to catch on either .....

I love jelly n ice cream .......mind you it's very sticky .....a bugger if it gets in crevices :D;)
