Guillemots - We're Here
the first band to come to mind when talking about keyboards, just trying to choose one song! Unfairly lumped in with another UK keyboard based band who were slightly anodyne, the 'Mots were more than a keys band, using typewriters, theremin, double bass and anything that could make a noise to make a glorious sound.

There were three or four amazing keyboard players in the 60s rocksteady and reggae scene: Winston Wright, Gladstone Anderson, Tyrone Downie and others.
Session, musicians, who played with one hit wonders and one shots, as well as with all of the big players: Bob Marley, Desmond Dekker, Derrick Morgan, Hortense Ellis, Jimmy Cliff…
Jackie Mittoo was my favorite reggae, soul and rocksteady keyboardist. He ran the show at Studio One and was their session keyboardist. He also did a lot of solo work too.
This one is just dripping with sexual energy…
