Day 8: A song featuring keyboard instruments

There were three or four amazing keyboard players in the 60s rocksteady and reggae scene: Winston Wright, Gladstone Anderson, Tyrone Downie and others.

Session, musicians, who played with one hit wonders and one shots, as well as with all of the big players: Bob Marley, Desmond Dekker, Derrick Morgan, Hortense Ellis, Jimmy Cliff…

Jackie Mittoo was my favorite reggae, soul and rocksteady keyboardist. He ran the show at Studio One and was their session keyboardist. He also did a lot of solo work too.

This one is just dripping with sexual energy…

Day 8: A song featuring keyboard instruments
It’s funny because last night I was stoned when I wrote the prompt as I did, thinking I’d add a touch of chaos to my usual format. Then, as soon as I posted it, I regretted it but left it up as an exercise in flexibility. But I guess you’re all just as anal as me 😝

Literally the only thing I can think about during that song:

Day 8: keyboard instruments

Odd, but a prompt is a prompt...

A carillon is a keyboard instrument that has at least 24 cast bronze bells. Think of a playable clock chime. They are not often used for touring...

And here is Coldplay's "Clocks," played on a clock tower.

Day 9-A song that features percussion instruments
Since the prompt is already up I'm going to post my choice before I go to bed. I love this song. I love how they start with one drum, add a bagpipe and build from there.
