Day 17: If you were going to Antarctica and could only bring 10 songs with you, what would one of them be?

I've lived in Southern California my entire life, I bitch and moan when the temperature drops into the 50s, I simply wouldn't survive Antarctica, dance party or no. But I still want good tunes for dancing/swaying until I go numb under ~20 layers of clothing πŸ˜‚

Freedom Of The Night - Sophie Ellis-Bextor

As of today....

Not sure if this counts as one or two!
Elton John - Funeral For A Friend / Love Lies Bleeding

This song would definitely be on the list. It is summery and warm. I would say it has some energy from 2014 era American Eagle stores if that makes any sense.
Hey Bestie- Neanderthal

I'm pragmatic and realize that I use music to process emotions. Each of those 10 songs would need capture the depth of the human experience (no small task)

This song gets me through a lot.
And it's beautiful to listen to.

Golden Brown - The Stranglers

Oh! New song posted. (It just occurred to me that I think I have listened to every song in this thread, some more than once if I am processing something. Wild.)

I love the Stranglers, and I love the harpsichord patch they use here. And...

"On her ship tied to the mast
To distant lands"

...brings The Endurance to my mind, also tying to Antarctica.

Thank you.
