Day 25 - A song about a winter storm

I never get snow storms here but it's been raining a fair bit this year. And I'm less interested in leaving my sugar in the rain than I am in [redacted] him in the rain 🤭

Day 26 - A song about standing up for your beliefs

Classic American Oi!

Original dropkick Murphy and now in street dogs, Mike McColgan, Al Barr (Bruisers/DropKicks) and Ken Casey (dropkicks) all letting it fly on the first Street Dogs album.

There’s a reason street dogs played in Madison and Portland and why the dropkicks are currently supporting those in Minneapolis.

Bob Marley and the Wailers - Get Up, Stand Up

I picked this one because it's easy to sing in a moment. It's easy to say and easy to understand from 10000 voices in a crowd. Sung alone, it's not so great.

Day 27 - A song you might play while snuggling in front of a fire

A horse with no name - America

Because it feels soft and warm and honest, just like a late night when only the coals glow and everyone else has gone to bed. Where's the firewood to make this night last just a little longer?
