As a Canadian I can say this song absolutely applies to fighting with half frozen sleet. We pretend we are all big and bad with our -30 windchill and 4 feet of snow. But when nature gives us -2 with 3" of snow that becomes 53lbs of unevenly distributed slush on a shovel.. we all hurt the same.

I didn't think I'd struggle with this prompt today. Woke up with a good song in my head, did the things I planned to do, I accomplished stuff I hadn't planned, prepared for the next few days, no catastrophic failures. A few customers' smile brightened when we spoke. Talked with friends, made a positive little ripple in someone's life, maybe. A good day!

But I've gone through countless playlists this evening and the only song that feels accurate is this one. Because I did what I was told, all day. As I do every day.
