🕸️🎃🧛🏻 Neighborhood Trick or Treat 2023🧛🏻🎃🕸️

Phantasm, 1 & 2😳
As a kid?? I think not!!

Lets see… what would have been out when you were a kid… hmmm… oh! I know! 1922’s Nosferatu! You saw that in the theater right???

…and that is a joke. I know it is at least 30 years before you were born… or maybe 20… 10?

What movie scared you the most as a kid?

My dad was always watching the classic horror movies about Dracula, Frankenstein and Werewolves and they never really scared me. The ending scene of Carrie was the first film that I remember literally jumping out of my seat and screaming at. Poltergeist gave me nightmares for a little while.

The movie that still gives me nightmares if I watch it isn’t one from my childhood but has two scenes that scare the shit out of me. Witches of Eastwick. The scene with the cherries and the one with the snakes keep me awake night after night.

What movie scared you the most as a kid?

Night of the Living Dead 1968
I was 14....now I just laugh through it😂

Nightmare on Elm Street. I lived near an Elm Street that was covered by old, decrepit trees. Every time I passed by it, I could always imagine Freddy waiting in the wings.

This movie "trailer" scares me!

Scariest film as a kid? The Birds still lives rent free in my head.
Tim Curry gifted me my fear of clowns though I think that's more because I saw him in my imagination when I read the book rather than that adaptation.
Carrie never scared me. I wanted to be her 😂
