Ohโ€ฆ it is a double feature night at October Cinema!!

Van Helsing! With Dracula, a Frankenstein monster, a Mr Hyde, a few werewolvesโ€ฆ and Dracโ€™s wives are all hotties!!!

Starring Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Jacked-man both in fine form.

I donโ€™t know why it did not do as well as expected, I think it is great fun.

What movie scared you the most as a kid?
During high school, I would come home from a friday night dance and turn on the TV at 11:30 pm to watch "Shock Theater", which featured the old horror B&W films. One night I was sitting on the desk in front of the TV watching a Dracula vampire movie. All the lights in the den were off, so the only light was the TV screen. I was alone, as the rest of the family had already retired.

At a climatic scary moment in the film when the vampire was about to strike, suddenly something swooped down from behind me at the TV . . . it was a bat !!! I must have leaped a foot or more and fell off the desk. Talk about being scared ! When I recovered, it took 30 minutes chasing that bat around the house with a tennis racket before I stunned it and threw it outside.
