*checks each dungeon, wipes down all equipment with sanitizer, makes sure all toys are put away properly and are ready for use*

*puts out food and water for gossamer*

*settles into the corner stool to watch the Olympics on the tiny TV behind the bar*

Plastic sheeting takes care of a lot of evidence. I wouldn’t use the black light however.

Two cats and a dog. Unbelievable amount of hair. We got a “pet friendly” vacuum which helps but doesn’t solve.

I wish my furniture and decoration was robot friendly, vacuuming more than once a week would help but won't happen without a robot.

Alas, I have too many nooks and furniture feet jungles where the robot wouldn't go, even carpet edges which they don't tend to like.

I'm doing pretty good... I'm glad tomorrow is Friday though... although I have to go to the DMV in the morning.

Beyond that, life seems to keep going on.

I got packing done as far as I could. Things for myself for a day trip to the summer cottage. Stuff for my cat for a week-long stay at the same place, except cat food delivery will be here in the morning. And as much for my 3-day trip on Saturday that's even possible to pack at this point.

Now I'd really appreciate some refreshing fruity drink!

He's a gorgeous black panther with a stare to match, approximately 12 years old ex-feral. As he was the biggest in the population - 6kg is a bit more than the landrace cats here usually weigh - I've been wandering if he has been hunting rats... You wouldn't guess by how he's now, but the place where the population lived is such. Short fur, but very soft and dense, the kind you want to dig your fingers in.

He still doesn't allow me, or anyone, to pick him up - but he wants some major cuddling! Rough neck massages and whole-body hugging in bed, these days sometimes even the living room mat is ok. Definitely also comes to sleep with people - my dad is already waiting for that while they take care of that's. Some feral, huh?
And he has learned to say "hungry" in Finnish! (We used to say that to him, "are you hungry?" So, he picked up on it, food-related words are important!
