Don't know about that. There haven't been tax collectors going around like that here for at least a century.

But I'm rather annoyed by those people who avoid using the doorbell like the plague, and knock instead. Some even rather faintly, how am I supposed to hear that?

And then some delivery guys don't even knock, just leave the parcel behind the door. (Not going to to ninja ones here, that's another issue altogether )

My wife volunteers at the library and while going through donations came across Universal Monsters boxed sets. Frankenstein, Dracula, Mummy, Wolfman. They now reside here.
