From the Street slipped in a tall but lithe traveler steps into the warm bustling tavern. The cloak on her seemed to try to soak up the shadow and color of their surroundings. It was a strange trick that sought something illusory but struggled in this environment. Atop the right shoulder clinging to the folds was a large raven. Unlike its perch her feathers were like staring into the starless void. The Raven looked about and gave a couple soft cahs.
The figure seemed to move but no sound was heard except the simple thunk of the darkwood staff in a delicate hand. The delicate hand was a stark contrast of the wood. Delicate and alabaster the hand seemed that it belonged to a woman, or a delicate man. Strangely the figure continued forward towards the bar,
Half way in, a large moss furred dog appeared following the figure. It was at its shoulder at least three feet in height. Its head was blocky with perky points for ears. The tail was long and excited, wagging like the happy creature it seemed to be. As it did it looked around cautiously eyeing those who seemed to follow the figure before it.
At the bar the figure pulled back the hood just enough to show her face. The revelation of delicate soft features on a perfect heart shaped face seemed to make the bartender blink. The creature before him was a High Elf. THough only those behind the bar could see, the angular features struck the man. Though Alabaster she was not alabaster, but like most High Elves seemed to have an ethereal aura about them
“I am Dru, do you have any food and lodgings for a weary traveler?’ came delicate musical notes.
“ I could use some if you have them available.” The Raven looks to the bartender then the Elf.
“My lady, he should. Though you will have to pay” The raven said in the strange speech of a crow.
“Right, I forget Blume” Dru says as she opens her cloak a bit revealing the lavender silk gown showing a hint of the smooth alabaster skin beneath. When she comes back with nothing she sighs.
“Apologies, I will move along” the elf says as she turns her face now more visible to those around. Those who peered with insight into this being would notice two emerald eyes looking down slightly downtrodden. This seemed to make the Raven, Blume, and the strange Dog to become alert and ready.
