A Plaything for Prostitutes

And I like how egotistic you have turned out to be.

You're no less egotistic yourself no matter what right you might claim to have.

I must say, after reading your stuff you are quite unimpressive.

Cool. But I'm not trying to impress anyone.

I find you to be overly opinionated with little or no experience. I find your mouth to be much larger than your brain. And you are about 0.0000001 millimeters from being ignored.

There's really nothing wrong with being opinionated. For what ever reason everywhere I go on Lit people get pissed at the idea of someone believing something they don't. If you really wish to ignore me please do so, being attacked at every turn does not appeal to me at all.

Just to let some people know: I have been a street prostitute and an escort girl! I did not! Enjoy my work. There are girls that I worked with that did. I'm not putting them down! Bubbles, (stage name) was very extraverteted. She enjoyed her work! I really needed someone to love and I had no income. I was abandoned by my first impressionable love. I put myself eventually into the hands of a man that was very calous and was I had hopes and reams to become a graphics artist. I found that I could not amass to join the colledge of my dreams and dropped into the street $twenty a fuck crowad to earn enough to feed pimp and his kids. I feel that that was the only galantry I served in trying to keep the two (not my own daughters) for this man! I did not enjoy being mauled by johns for this paltry money! I am with a man that I do not find attractive, but at least he treats me with more respect than Dan Shoohoff did! Sadly! Rhoda/Quesla, the new woman. Still struggling for respectful recognition!

You miss the point entirly. Go back to sleep. The problem is, English Gent wrote a real life story with "The Best Little Whore House in Texas" as his pattern. There is no such thing. That was a musical comedy. There is no such thing as a prostitute with a heart of gold. They are nasty bitches who are out only for the money. They steal it if they can, blow if they can't and fuck if there is no other way of getting it. Understand now?

Um no.

Did we read the same story? :D

'Real life' for me is somebody recounting something that happened to them or to someone they knew. This is clearly a fantasy (with a few too many literal baseball bats as fieryjen pointed out).

I'll say again that you're talking about one facet of prostitution from the perspective of a country that has a very shitty attitude to people that end up in that line of work (I'm assuming you're based in the US, forgive me if my assumption is wrong). Attitudes are different in different countries. In Britain there are girls that can and do treat it as a business and just as in any other business, if you rip customers off or provide a lousy service then word gets round and you don't get any more business.

This doesn't mean I'm naive enough to swallow the hooker with a heart of gold cliche and I certainly don't believe they all like their work (who likes their job anyway?), but there are plenty with enough business sense to realise you get more money if people keep coming back for repeat business.

It seems to me there are plenty of possible outcomes to letting in the two prostitutes.

A. They have a good laugh at her predicament and then rob her blind.

B. They don't feel comfortable with the scenario and turn the job down.

C. They don't know the girl well enough to know exactly what she wants and put in a half-assed performance that leaves her unfulfilled.

D. They don't know what the girl wants and go too far, hurting her in the process.

E. They have enough experience/skill and the session goes perfectly.

F. They think some sicko's playing a game and untie her/maybe phone the police.

Some of these outcomes are more likely than others. The fantasy comes in because the story follows the 'perfect' outcome of E. In 'real life' this probably isn't very likely to happen, but that doesn't mean it couldn't.

I can see where I might have the missed the point though. There's a big difference between characters behaving in a way that might not be likely, to behaving in a way that's plain impossible. If that's the point Jenny and Drk were trying to make then, yeah, you're right.

We probably just disagree on what outcomes we think are possible :)

I'll go back to sleep now :D
