i'll pour myself something and go sit in the corner, in the shadows, shutting my mouth

..
That time of year again in the age of global warming. :(
..
I'm mixing a pitcher of Hurricanes; who's in?

thick, dirty fleece sandwiches fleet ribbons of blue, brain half-mast at best

too wet to mow, too blowy to rake leaves, time drags weighted feet as the invisible sun slips beyond the horizon

dang, get any sleepier and sit through any more films like the one last night and this afternoon (both important message-wise, both supremely depressing), listen to more hurricane reports and the sad sad state of america leading up to this election, i might as well hibernate till spring!

Not much point me taking up the torch, I get ignored. It's been like that since I took on the Mod mantle. Shame, I loved the challenges and they kept us together.
I need to write again, social media has taken it upon itself to delete my poetry group and gone with it about 2 years if not more of my poetry. :( Line up the Pina coladas, might as well drown my sorrows.

Line by Line - a Potential 12 month Challenge

It would start in In November with 3 line poems (starting small and giving a break to the NaNoWriMoers) and end in October with 14 line poems (which would agree with PFD's sonneters) . Any number of poem and form within the requisite number of lines would be acceptable.

Let me know if you're interested.

A poet walks into a bar -
Not keeping from others too far.

Says the barmaid: 'get out -
Health restrictions you flout!'

Says the bard: 'Can't jail me -

I'm a star...'
