Abrasion Therapy : A Brush With Bite

We do a LOT of abrasion play, but prefer to keep my skin ON, so no wire used here. We have several pretty rough ones from a horse tack company, in different levels of firmness that do quite well-my husband prefers to alternate soft and hard bristle ones to keep me guessing.

Another find was a scrubber mitt also from the horse tack place, much more abrasive than those shower mitts. And from a fishing supply company, we have these descaling gloves that CAN take skin off if you're not careful. They are among my favorite toys.

We also have some other unusual sensation toys-a plastic mini-slinky dragged across your back pinches in an interesting way, feathers, silk fabric-not all of it need be rough to be fun. Oh, and for some interesting fun, use the business end of a garden weasel (don't attach the pole). They make a nice tinkling sound and poke and pinch interestingly.

We do LOTS of sensation play here-the toys themselves are quiet (kiddos on the premises) and they do indeed make impact play go up a notch.

LOL, it is fun to play. What can I say....the sadist in him hungers for the sight of my blood and he loves to then torture the healing surface for the next week or so.

The cat brush we have is wonderful, I really love it. But sometimes it relaxes me to the point of feeling sleepy not erotic lol

Maybe we need to look at firmer brushes!

My back can take far more punishment and abrasion than any other part of my body. Having him drag that brush down my skin and feeling each prick digging into my flesh is heaven.

As a child I used to love the feel of stubble on my hands, even now I enjoy the sensations of touching his face when he has not shaved for a couple of days.

Nostalgic bump to go with the raspy feel of my butt!:D

Ooh, that reminds me - this past weekend the Top I played with ran her nails over the ouchy spots after flogging. The sensation was so ... almost strange... it made me giggle each time! It's not that it tickled though. It was just the most interesting feeling. Anyway, Miste Man does not have nails, but your earlier post on this makes me think I should point him in the direction of these brushes...

*adorrrrrres her abrasion play* my personal favorite is a wool followed up with a vampire glove (has a big soft spot for the glove). One mistress I knew had a nice bunny fur vampire glove, that was just delightful on so many levels. I'm wary with metal though, theirs a the obvious risk of infection if it breaks skin and the chance of permanent scaring if the person doesn't know what they're doing. Has anyone played with using a liquid/gel after abrasion play to get a nice sting? I've been thinking about substances recently to use as a spread.

Scarring is not a worry here as it is accepted as part of our play and desire, and breaking skin is usually an outcome with most things we play with, even flogging. Wire brushes need to be kept in a clean environment, changed from time to time, and not shared with others, but then we don't share any of our toys. We even have rope for others, different to what is used on me....or at worst, if used on someone else, is washed thoroughly afterward. We have used a rub down of alcohol after abrasion play which gives an added dimension to the whole thing as well as cleaning the wounds.:)

Ooh, have you ever felt a gravel glove? Yummm.

Hmm no I haven't, I tried googling it but couldn't find anything that seemed like it was what you're talking about. Can you post some info or a link?

I'll have to ask my friend who owns them. All I know is they were gloves with a gravel-like texture on the inside of the hands.

i used to put sandpaper on the inside of my bra. this was before i knew BDSM had a name, and far before i ever heard of abrasion play.

I could see that as punishment. I just think I personally would find it more irritating than good

of course.. I could be wrong..after all.. I used to think the pinwheel thingy was yucky:devil:
