Actor ~ Movie ~ Actor Game 6

Chris Tucker (playing off jlh definitely wasn’t helping, but the choice to be in that movie at all is on Chan)

Money Talks (Chan did his job. Movie was shit. Kungfu yoga or skiptrace, I have no arguements)

John Cusack (I never considered this before, but stand by me could 100% be an anthology series like what they do with the insidious movies. No one’s not gonna wanna see a dead body? Just keep taking different groups to different dead bodies and don’t stop until the DBCU (dead body cinematic universe) has surpassed the MCU!

Amanda Peet (he was too busy normalizing torture as a valid and effective way to get information for whatever plan he needs to thwart in 24 hours.)

Bruce Willis (the whole 10 yards may be my personal vote for the Least requested, least anticipated, least necessary sequel.)

Anya Taylor Joy (at the time it came out on video though, I thoroughly believed that the whole 9 yards was a cinematic masterpiece… there 100% a reason I associate that movie with Amanda peet to this day. If you’ve seen the movie than you know what I’m taking about)

Split (she was absolutely charming, maintaining the same persona as both dental assistant and contract killer, all while making it seem the most natural thing in the world.)

m night shamalan (I’m 95% sure this is the McAvoy one, but I’m 100% sure that since m night directed it then he also gave himself a cameo)(I may watch it again then, I’d kind of written her off until her run on Brockmire. She nails a roll that could have gone way campy or beyond unlikable very very easily)

Signs ( he was one of the zookeepers in split. I like her, she just strikes me as one of those actresses that never got the right break.)

Joaquin pheonix (I think I’m with you on that. And she was positioned to explode when the sorkin drama about sketch comedy came out and she was the lead. It just happened to be the worst bomb sorkin’s had (that I know of) at a time when it seemed inconceivable that Sorkins new series would be anything but a giant smash, forget being a show that flopped)

We own the night. (It happens all the time. Call it chance or fate, but a nobody becomes a superstar, and/or the rising star is snuffed.)

Marky Mark (completely true how that happens. I was watching dredd on a flight today and I think that if it had been the mega hit (that it deserved to be. Awesome movie start to finish aside from some really clunky dialogue in the first 5 minutes) than right now Olivia Thirlby would be a giant giant star)
