Where would you like to live if you could live anywhere?

Well, I would like to experience to live somewhere remote, ideally with a beach, as some kind of dropout. But I think I would hate it after awhile.

Otherwise, I'm happy where I am; closer to a beach would be nice, but that's it.

Unless I could not only choose the geographic location, but basically create my own version of a country I envision I would want to live in. Then I would create something with the common sense of the government of Germany and their public healthcare; with Norways penal system of reintegration instead of punishment; with Irish redheads and pubs for darts and Swedish blondes; with the temperature range a little lower than mediterranean and Dominican beaches.


Do you have any pets (not the people kind) but like fish, birds, dogs, days, etc?

I've had a dog, who passed away about a year ago due to age.



I'm a dog person and am not in the situation currently that I could properly care for one, so, no, I don't have any pets currently.


Do you like to collect anything?

Spices and herbs.

If you should find yourself in my kitchen trying to cook and ask me where to find the oregano, be prepared to get asked stuff like:"mexican or greece?" back.

Otherwise I'm not really obsessed with anything that makes me go:"Oh, look, I need this one."


What is something people are surprised to learn about you?

I don't know. I've never received the:"Wow, I wouldn't have thought that." feedback. Maybe that I do miniature painting.

I still have a cupboard of undercoated minis staring at me reproachfully. I enjoyed painting but my back doesn't love it and I just haven't had the time and focus the last few years.

Such a cute pup! I also like the idea of creating your own country with the astrocytes you like. Such an unexpected but brilliant response. I have a somewhat decent collection of spices and herbs. I think it's pretty mediocre but when I look in friend's cabinets if I'm cooking they really don't have nearly as much as I do. I'm definitely not on the level of Mexican or Greek oregano but I've been to friend's houses that didn't have any oregano or much of anything besides salt, pepper, garlic salt, and maybe some type of blend.

What are the subjects of your miniature paintings? I take longer on the smaller paintings than I ever took on bigger ones. Although I find that I like just working on a painting building up transparent layers.

I’m confident.

Plus, now I want to watch this.

Are you sure that was me? I had to google astrocytes myself.

The answer: I don't know.

I do find nearly everything interesting, from woodworking to quantum physics and spend way too much time on YouTube. I can actually explain what happens when you are running on a train that travels with light speed and therefore you would technically travel faster than light. So I might catch up specific vocabulary this way.

Thinking about it, a pet peeve is the wrong use of words, when people don't understand their definition. I don't mean mix-ups like "affect vs. effect" or "dominate vs. dominant", but texts I've read like:
"I was coerced into giving a blowjob!"
"OMG, what did he do?"
"He said, he will be sad if he doesn't get one."

So maybe I'm overly attached to words and semantics.

do need some white pepper. I don't tolerate garlic well at all so I've pretty much had to forgo blends and just make my own stuff which is why I have more individual spices and herbs. It's a sad thing to not be able to use garlic.

I'll just ramble a bit about some of my vices.

Let's start with the desire to dominate. It's one of my vices. I know, plenty of people see their kinks as something special that makes them experience a much better or interesting sex life than those poor vanillas. I've never been able to adopt this point of view. Not to mention that my desire is not limited to the bedroom. While I've never committed a crime, I've done enough things that I'm not proud of. I'm the scorpion riding the turtle across the river. How should this be something desirable? It's a vice.

Gluttony (for the record, this is not related to kink) - a very traditional vice. I eat more than I should when I like something. The ability to withstand the offer of a blowjob from a 10/10 girl but not the temptation of another serving of lasagna is something that repeatedly confuses people around me. I have the willpower to regularly hit the gym to combat the fact that I have no willpower regarding food. It's ridiculous.

I don't think the desire to dominate beyond the bedroom is necessarily a bad thing. What is the motivation for the desire to dominate? Is that desire aimed at certain people? What determines who should be dominated? These among other questions that arise may point to whether or not it is positive, negative, or more likely in between. Does it enable bad behavior? With some people it might but with others it could become a positive relationship for both.

Is it even possible to decide to turn away from domination and submission? Is it just some fun or is it a core aspect of a person? I think it could be either for different people. I have decided before that I was going to no longer be submissive and that I would be a regular person which was laughable because I need direction and guidance. I need a firm hand. At the same time, I'm completely capable of taking care of myself without anyone's help. It wears on me to have to make decisions that affect others. I struggle with that greatly. I can decide for me quickly though. However, it is nice to melt into another's will. There is a peacefulness that I don't gain without that.

Also, as I'm sure you're already completely aware, we all do things we regret. Stone spend more time with their regret than others.

This is a complex topic.

I'm the guy in an assembly who raises his hand and says what everyone else thinks in the room. So I'm not shy in public and don't withhold my opinion. I have to pay attention in not doing so in a self-destructive way. I'm getting better at it with age.

I'm not very talkative, but outgoing. You know when there is a party with different circles and everyone sticks to his own circle (at least up to a certain alcohol threshold)? I'm basically one of the first to talk to "the other people" and get to know them - even though I prefer to not lead the conversation.

I am very reticent regarding my love and/or sex life, I'm not very good in praising people or in expressing with words how important they are for me. I'm working on the latter.
