I rather feel sorry for my daughter who is in jr high. At least 4 of her teachers are mid 20s, male, and completely adorable. I would never have been able to pay attention in their classes. Sadly for me there was no eye candy in my school, but at least I got good grades.

I am considering volunteering there tho. . .

I forgot I posted this thread and expected only one or two responses. I was surprised. I'm writing a story about a girl's crush in real life and changing a few details. She never met him alone, just had the crush. I moved it to college and she'll be his slave.

Imagine being in high school knowing what you know now... I think about that sometimes. It would certainly be different.

Well, I probably would have gotten laid more than the 0 times I did. Of course, I'd probably get quite a few OMGWTF reactions since I tend to shock 30-50+ women nowdays with my kinkyness. Yeah, I made up ground in a hurry when I went to college... I never lusted after any professors, but I have had some managers that I thought were pretty nice.

You ask about women having crushes on their profs and expected only a couple responses?

I'm shocked at just how frequently this topic comes up in my little circle. It only takes one of us to say, "You know, I've always had a crush on <insert professor name here>." This starts the chorus of, "Me too!" Or they list the other prof they like. Something about the power and authority and brains... if he's also attractive, well then I'd be willing to bet money that women in the room are fantasizing about him. (FYI- the average age of students at my college is mid-30's).

I did have a crush on one of my professors in college. I tend to be drawn to intelligent men, so I suppose it was inevitable. He taught a couple of my upper-level science courses, and he was smart, funny, sarcastic, and sexy... the whole package. But he was also quite happily married, so my crush stayed just that, a crush only. I don't think he ever knew.

I've also been on the other side of the equation when I was teaching high school physics and chemistry during my first year out of college. I know that volumes have been written on that particular fantasy, but the reality for me was that it was rather awkward and I felt I had to be very, very careful about what I said or did around some of my male students.

And if he wasn't married?
